PC Upgrade Help
Give Novatech a call http://www.novatech.com or use the website (calling will get you help). I used to work for them and they aint to bad, but to be honest the board you are running is made by ECS which is ok purely as a budget board, you can buy bundle which will give you a chip, ram and motherboard and will save you hassle as they are pretested and run in. With regards to power supply you will most likely need to upgrade that to a minimum of 400watts (true power) not something cheap that says 400watts as it wont constantly give it. Then comes VGA which can either be on board or seperate which is better on the graphical scale of games and graphic applications. Give em a call it wont hurt and they will help.

Speed sensor
Ok I think this is probably the last resort before it looks like I need a new autobox or take it to someone who knows loads about these cars. My question is "Speed sensor" are TT and NA the same or does it not matter which goes in ? coz at about 20mph the gearbox cant make its god damn mind up so it knocks me forward and backwards till I go faster or slower. For the moment am having to pull away in "Hold mode" but on long motorway journeys its absolutely awesome and so economical I think (enfield - Bournemouth on 1/4 tank o.O) I done most of the Idea's I found, last thing is speed sensor in teh gearbox =D Also remember seeing the speed sensor fault on ConZult. Cheers Paul.

Hold and Power button.
Well car has been running alot better now so went up and took it for a nice clean. When I go to drive away I put the car into Hold mode and both the power light and the hold light come on..... So when it is in Hold mode and I put foot down it flys instead of the nice gentle pull of and gear change. but when i put in power mode just the Power light comes on, what would be the reason for this as has only just this minute happened :(

Key lockin mechanism on Steering rack.
Ok today decided to fully fit the switches to the Indiglo dials and under the steering rack was a red and black wire which led to the top side of the unit which the ignition barrel sit on. Now the Black one was connected but the red one was not? When connected I could no longer get the key out even when pressing the release switch??? It only happens when the red wire is connected again. Is there a reason that it does not release my key lol.

Gear box oil
Well have decided to change the Gear box oil on my 91 NA jap spec, now I have read that it has no drain plug so have to take the whole underside off and will aloow me to check the filter also and replace if need be, I am doing this because I checked the transmission fluid today and its more of a pinky orange and had some dirt on the dip stick as to being red......... Now the question is I dont want to go pouring the most expensive stuff in so what it my best bet? and what capacity am I looking at as I red 11 litres somewhere then 9 and finally 4-5 on a usa site so am a little bit confused :S Any advice would be great :D Cheers Paul

Footwell soggy
The only tube I could see around that area sorta ran from the back of the car up the drivers side just past the boot/pertol cap latch then directly goes across to the centre of the car, the wet patch is quite soggy but would be directly under ya knee's for average height person lol. I have put the car back together atm as its so hot and I have no shade to work in :( But it does not seem to be coming "down" from anywhere thought It may have been coming under the carpet fom the matrix area but its dry there so I think its the tube I have seen but its moulded in coating of some sort and could not get the carpet all the way out from the centre, that will be a job for a cooler day :D
-
Footwell soggy
no coolant smell just water, but its not leaking down the side no more unless its been in there since there matrix was playing up ? as it was in the cold and had no coolant at all. so led me to believe that was freezing up in the car but now i have put coolant in and there has been no leaks at all. Just lifted the carpet back as far as I can (seat out) and its in the area where the rubber tube runs under.
-
Footwell soggy
while cleaning the car inside i took the mats out and found that underneath it in the driver's side was all soggy so I have lifted the carpet and is soaking underneath, cannot see no holes lol but there is a rubber tube running under there... is this the draintube for the targa top ?
