My point wasn't the scuttling of Woolworths, it was the irresponsible behaviour on the part of the Corporate arm in lending such huge sums in the first place. You know this was a mistake on their part, so I fail to see any justifiable defence here?

But doesn't this defeat the whole object of fitting LEDs? If a bulb blows you still have to change it. I think putting a low value, high-power resistor across the feed would be the better option.

My worst car ever was an old Mini. Not long after passing my test I decided to put a 1300cc engine in it with high-lift cams which I got cheap from an old schoolmate who had stuffed his Mini into a wall. Next day I drove it at 100mph on the way to work, but after leaving a dual carriageway found it no longer had any brakes, even the handbrake did nothing. Luckily I managed to fit between the kerb and a Nova as we went round a roundabout, then entered work's car park at about 50 and carried on going into the middle of a field. I left the Mini there until my employers forced me to have it towed away some 6 months later!

Not if you're using Velvia 8x10, you'd need 960 Megapixels! The data might be old, but it is still valid.

Sure have. These were taken in NY, long before I stripped it down lol! The front is off a '73, but the car is a '68, so I'm hoping my mate (who lives 50% in Florida and 50% in Wales) can ship the right front over in a container when/if the bleedin exchange rate improves:( Loads to do yet though.

Although completely impractical and quite slow nowadays, I'd still have the Countach, if only because it's different and was more striking in 1971 than any of todays supercars.

You'd be surprised at what kids recognise. I had most of the front off my 40 yr old Stingray the other day and a 12 yr old said to his mate "Oh look, that's a Corvette Stingray." I was amazed because the lights and bumper were off and most adults ask "What kind of car is that, even when it's complete!"
