the glass fitter told me mine were very bronze. He even placed the new screen over mine on the care and the new screen stood out a mile. :( wouldn't mind having a gander at the differences.

the reason i haven't investigated the fact of getting aone from a breakers is most likely it would cost more than £60. The sreen is legal at the moment so no worries there. Just goto go around with an imperfect screen.... :cry: never mind;matches the wife LOL(only Joking)

It started a few weeks ago when my wife was driving along and the dreaded stone from hell hit the windscreen causing it to spider. I phoned my insurance and was happy to hear that the would fix it for £60. They arrived today to put it in but when they got the new screen out it was noticed it was blue with a blue sun strip because mine is a jap import the screen is bronze/blue. "not to worry" i was told, i will phone my boss and order the right one. Few minutes go buy and the lad then told me there was a new screen on order but could take upto 6 months. :( I asked him how much and was told £1500 supplied and fitted!!!! :eek: but its only going to cost me £60. What im asking is this right and to warn people to get windscreen insurance.

Nothing better than hittin the power button and kickin down......... all you bo is sit there having to stop you nappa fron hittin the rear window... Auto all the way!! Plus im lazy!! all your botherd about is sitting there.....(to many wets)

I know there has been much talk about the prop shaft bearing but is there any sure tests i can do to see if this is the culprit of my low tone vibration. Its not disturbing to say the least but you know what its like;once you notice somthing it seems to get worse. I think they call it sycosymatic(if thats how you spell it!!!). Ive checked the wheel bearings; they are ok, and the vibration does'nt come through the steering. Does it cost alot to resolve? Jonce :dance:

So whats the best cooler to go for?? Noticed Luke at the ZCENTRE did one. Is that reliable?? Ive seen others for treble the price of Lukes and wonder if they are to cheap!?

so is it the gearbox thats causing all the heat?!!! Better get it sorted before the "ooops,should have converted the cooler" when it frazzles :shock:

Just wondering....... how much heat comes up from underneath the car. Its just that when i sit at traffic lights etc i can actualy seat the heat waves rising up the out side of the window. Is this normal? :confused: When i open the door with the engine running i can even feel heat on my legs. Another thing that seems to get very warm is the transmition tunnel. Is this caused by the gear box. Im going to put a cooler conversion on the gearbox cooler as its a jap import. Any thing else i can do to help?? Jonce

Just got some H3 bulbs sent across from Hong Kong. Same wattage etc.. but they are 5000K. Tryed the mod and it works a treat!! At last i can see!!!! Better than paying £16 for a standard bulb. Luke at the zcentre has the the standards if you want to stay with them but i went on ebay and payed about a tenner for a set(with p&p!) Jonce

I know that the small buzzin' noise from the roof is a small fan.Its to do with the air conditioning. Ive read somthing on a previous thread to do with this problem. Ive even had the irritating buzzing myself but i just took it out and cleaned it and the problem dissapeared.

Its always a good idea if possible to polish the inside of any port to help the gases flow even. I could quite believe you could get that kind of result. How much is he asking for this service??

Hi there, Had the same problem with my alt. Started to squeak when i put it under full load(stereo on ,air con, lights etc...) but found i only had to re-adjust my tension and problem solved. Also ive read on another thread that the z turns the air con off when you put your foot to the floor(power mode). Not sure if its true though? Id like to see what people say.

Hi there, got my Z 7 months ago(jap import) and then relised the car had lap belts. I had the same problem with the kiddies seat so i found some second hand ones out of the back of the auto trader. I think the price came £150 with p&p. All the fitting locations are there behine the panels. The only mod i had to make was drill two holes in the plastic to put the top buckles in. Easy!!

Is the noise coming from the very front at the bottom of the car?? There is an electrica; fan down there that is controlled by the coolant sensor(yellow electrical connection on the top ally coolant pipe behind the main fan at the top). This sensor somtimes comes loose and causes the fan to come on constant. Its very load. I discoverd it after changing my cam belt and the fan came on constant. The noise dissapeared at speed. Just a thought!! :dance:
