Hi matey, speed sensor is easy to find. Changed it 5 months ago. Its on the gearbox by the exhaust bracket. Its only held on by a ten mill bolt. Noticed your from darlo. Im local 2 u. Have you the red Z??

yer, mine to. Its definately the washer bottle because mine ran out the other day. Anyway there is a diagram on the lid. Just a little concerned and confused at whats been said so far :rolleyes: ???

Tube thingy?? Do all Z's have this? the onlt thing i have with that device is my windscreen washer bottle. My rad has no 'thingy' only a cap on the rad. Is this because its a jap import. I have also read some other threads and people say they they have a header tank? Just wondering?

COULD ANYONE HELP ME WITH MY REAR HATCH(ON THE CAR!! ;) ) WHEN DRIVING ALONG IVE GOT A CONSTANT RATTLE FROM THE REAR. IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN ADJUST THE STRIKER AND LATCH. Hi, Just wondering how important is this 4 wheel allignment,as i have a slight judder and got the front wheels rebalanced but judder is still present.Only at speed though. I didnt know about this 4 wheel alignment as ive only owned the Z for 6/7 month. Is it to do with the HICAS?? :confused:

sorry greg its the bottom left of the fuse box if you look at it straight on. Ain't i a :xxx: if i dont even know my left from right!!!

Greg buddy. If you look in the drivers footwell,in the bottom right hand corner you will find all the interior fuses. Is it a jap import. If so there is a fusebox translation on 300zx.org.uk enter search and put fusebox. If its the same fuse that went as mine it was the bottom right(furthest away) 10amp. hope that helps. Nothing worse than leccy probs :mad:

hi jonce here again. sorted my problem. it was a fuse gone causing all the leccy problems.

SRRAE, can you use normal unleaded or does it run phoo?

mate just alittle confused by your last......r u asking how much do i think the relay is or do you think its that thats knackerd. I've got the guy coming back tomorrow to have a look at what hes done,so ill drop an email to you if its a bad earth. :cry:

Buddy, i had a guy come and put a incar phone system in on friday and that included wiring into the stereo system. I wonder????? :confused:

JUST BEEN ON EBAY(AMERICA) AND NOTICED THERE ARE 2 TYPES OF IGNITION KEY. VALET/MASTER. THING IS WHEN I GOT THE CAR I ONLY GOT THE RED VALET KEY. WHATS THE DIFFERENCE?? AND IF THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE HOW WOULD I GET A MASTER KEY CUT? :rolleyes:

cheers Vijay. Do you think i could have damaged the relay. Ive also just noticed that when i shut the door hard my incar phone speaker seems to come on and off. Still no stereo though :cry:

im going to recheck the fuses 2nite. Ive just been out again and replaced the interior light and tried again. Once again the clock went out and the door open light came on. I also noticed there is a clickingsound from the rear right by the rear seat. Is there a relay there??

hi. hope somone can help me. It all started when my main interior light blew. When changing it there was a spark.i put a new bulb in and it still doesn't work. I checked the fuse and all was ok. That is not the confusing part..... now when i get in the car the light that warns you the doors are open stays on and the digi clock goes off. When i switch the map lights the clock comes on and the light on the dash goes off. Also my stereo now doesn't work. As i said i checked all the fuses and they are ok. Have i damaged a relay somwhere or could i have caused an earthing fault. I cant work it out because the power is at every instrument but it then seems to fade away in about 5 secs. Any idea's????? :cry:

Hi there, I changed my cam belt and all was ok until i started the car. The cam belt job was a good un' but my electric fan at the front has come on and won't go off. I think its a n intercooler fan(is that right??) .Should it be on constant as i pulled a piece of paper/carboard out of it or should it come on after a good thrashin'. I have never heard this before and i've had the car 6 months. Why o Why do these thing happen. Just as you conquer one thing another happens........ :( :cry:

SOZ TO BUTT IN,DO YOU KNOW WHAT SORT OF BULBS ARE FITTED TO THE SIDE LIGHTS(ONE'S IN THE FOG) ON A JAP IMPORT AS MINE ARE GOOSED!! THANKS JONCE :cry:
