  1. fredeo? ferodo? lol so u got the ferodo pads or ksport pads im confused?
  2. Had aftermarket wheels but were not to bling.... think 17 inch?
  3. yeah thats ott mofo...... what make of pad is it? sounds like a monopoly to me lol....
  4. bloody hell they are good cold and hot, bedded in very quickly, tbh not sure if fully bedded but boy do they bite. I doubt i have even had them anywhere near hot yet, done a couple 100-60 stops which felt like no effort at all lol My friend who recommended them uses them on his race cars, he races porsches and comes 1st in his class alot of the time, really knows his stuff and these pads are evidence to that. they are the 97 compound which are more street easy, good cold easy on disc and they last longer than other brands, (what ive read) there is another compound 01 which is more suited to race, my friend said he uses the 97 compound to race with because of the wear rates and disc wear.
  5. fitted and road tested,, my god do they do the job well... only have to touch the brake pedal now. car mad you paid 300 for front and back or just fronts?
  6. Well im not sure if they make them for the stock zed calipers, im using porsche brembos remember lol, but im sure they do an aplication. some info anyways, 97 Compound A favorite of sportscar endurance and NASCAR racing since its debut, winning races in CART, ALMS, Grand Am, ASA, and Club Racing, 97 Compound has less initial bite and average torque than the 01 Compound. It has great modulation, a very flat torque curve, and enhanced release characteristics. With the lowest wear of any PFC Compound, 97 is considered Performance Friction's "Endurance Compound" and is highly recommended as a general-purpose pad for Club Racing and Track Day events. -Very flat torque characteristics -Extremely easy on discs -Long wearing But i do know you can buy and fit ds2500 and ds3000 ferodo's for your calipers which are one of the best.
  7. Happy birthday matey :D
  8. Bought myself some new pads for the ride. Performance friction, its what the porsche cup race cars are using. Not cheap i can tell you that much
  9. they did indeed mate, would of looked even more specialer in either white or black to match the 2 tone look or even black and white, but it doesnt matter if its black or white said mister michael junction box.....
  10. Very true, I will be asking alot of questions, not to worry zed friend :D
  11. I will be able to tell if they are an improvement, already feel alot more stable and predictable. The shocks will be able to take the strain alot better than the teins not to forget they are a monotube desgin with damper&rebound adjustment, spring preload and separate hieght adjustment they are a massive step up from what i was using b4.
  12. Not too worry, ive already taken that into account, Yes they will :D as long as the rim isnt recessed like my current ones are, what i mean is the outside of the rim is larger than the inside, Cheap fake 2 piece wheels yes lol
  13. Well i was advised to set a little droop on the springs which enabled me to slam the car, so all is good, anyhow Driftworks rang me today and are sending me out a different set of lower mounts for the coilovers which will give me even more adjustment and still have the preload i need for the mot man, they want me to test fit them and measure the highest and lowest settings for them, i will also be exchanging the old mounts. Looks like im the guinea pig on this one.... I must be the first z32 with them fitted by the looks of it...... Will see how i get on at bedford autodrome on monday, cant wait to test them out properly and share the in car vid with ben at driftworks, maybe it will get posted on the shop advert page woohoo :D
  14. smaller wheel means a lighter wheel and tyres will be cheaper too  should have more room to play with under the arch and not to forget a better steering feel as long as the profile is right.
  15. red lip not rim. no one will ever see them anyway apart from on the track soooooooo?? lemme find a pic,
  16. Ermmmmmmmmmmm ever heard of track wheels? erm no coz your a poser ;)
  17. Im actually looking for a set of rota gtr 17inch wheels the black five spoke design with the red lip, they need to be 9inch fronts at et25 and 9.5 rears et30 But im also looking to buy them as package with toyo r888's Driftworks have given me a good price of £1300 if you can beat that then you have my business ;)
