Can u tell me where to find instrutions for ecu diagnostics? i havent done one yet and yes if your water temp sensor is broke or disconnected then the secondary fan will stay on for safety.

Sorry mate but he done yA,,,, you should never ever ever trust anyone when it comes to buying selling cars...... what is strange is that he doesnt have the log book,, he probably has another z and is using yours as a doner car,, you will probably recieve a phone call from the police sooner or later saying your car has been found in an abandoned garage with no wheels etc... haha na i didnt get one of those silly, i soldered one in, anyway thats another story u can ask andyduff about that haha. so why is that chip perfect for me? induction straght thru exhaust system and running at 1 bar :) anytyhing that will run well with those simple mods il buy:) :)

I duno why it would sound worse after it warms up????? just check for leaks and loose hoses etc :) im sure its just something minor now...

yeah i think il buy one of those john dixon chips soon, after xmas... u got the socket so i can just solder it and then plug the new one in so i can swap them over whenever i want? eprom socket i think its called???

mate i aint done no remap yet just a cheapo chip from ebay which described as beeing able to run safer fuel/air for 1 bar on a standard turbo........ i duno i duno.

sometimes with hair line cracks in the exhaust manifold when they warm up they expand and seal the crack and the leak goes away. yours is the opposite.... Your going to have to have a good look around that area for leaks and cracks etc, sure you will find the prob on a ramp. give it a good rev on the ramp while you look underneath and have a listen for any leaks etc. what kinda noise is it again???? you sure its not a detting noise???? cracking kinda sound

hmmmmm sounds like a good idea..... how do i adjust the fuel pressure then? with the regulators? they dont look very adjustable to me...... and why wouldnt you recomend the pressure change??? whats wrong with a bit of tweak? :

that hazard switch just clips off but u got to give it a bit of a pull. why do you need to take the steering wheel off? on the connectors you need to pinch the clips with something like a screw driver then pull it.

cool so ur turbo should be fine then, must be minor hopefully.

when the maf sensor is off or pooped it sticks to 2500 for safety, maybe have look at that. when u had that bump the maf including your induction kit or air box may have come off. check see if all the sensors are on and not damaged and all hoses and pipes etc.

Cool thats some very usful info, il bear that in mind for future tuning. so basically at this stage im at i might as well stick to it till i want to spend the big boys.... maybe il just get an uprated intercooler for safer running in the summer. think im guna consentrate on making the car look better for now as its a bit of a mess and fix all the niggles it has ;) thanks again andy
