ooo thats not good, i didnt think it worked that way. I think that weak injector has been fitted at the cooler end of the engine, hopefully it can be changed without removing plenum so i can change it further on down the line. Damn why didnt i just change it, never mind. Looiks like i got some MORE work cut out for me. :(

Seals are new. Im only running stock boost so i wouldnt of thought it would matter? dont think il be getting any where close to using their full potential. Would it make a difference at lower duty?

Theres no scent of the smell of fuel anywhere, do you think it would smell of fuel if iit was leaking? Well when i had the injectors flowed tested the guys said its common for one injector to be slightly out on the larger size ones. but hay maybe thats the prob then. I havent ruled out the fpr yet so thats probably another thing to look at.

;) Problem is i have to visit a fuel garage to use a big enough compressor to do the job. Il bring a bucket and soap and fill it with water when i get there, i was using wd40 to find the leaks but soapy water sounds better. But would this leak make the car run rich though?

AHHHHH READ UP AHHHHHH sorry murt, im just very frustrated.

Thats what im hoping, as before when i did the leak test the pressure just wouldnt hold for longer than a few seconds. When car was running i could hear a funny noise from the front left intercooler like a high pitched wistle but hard to locate with engine noise, also sounds like im getting a hiss underneath the offside intake pipes. Will see what 2mow brings.

Call me a nutter but i drove mine and had a friend touch the signal wire on all the other connections till the speedo worked haha.

Jimmer it Doesnt sound like a misfire. the Black smoke is not that bad, its obvious when you leave it to idle for a while then press the throttle.

ahhh bugger it.... I replaced the intercooler and im still having the same running issues what a cooont. I would have thought it was the culprit, the old cooler is cracked and was leaking a goodun what the hell is it now ggrrrrrrrrrrr... Il do another leak test 2mow. Well at least i dont have a huge dent in my wing anymore :D car stll needs a full respray though. Still alot to do james. no way near show condition yet. Well i suppose i could take a visit and pick up my old wheels.

Went for a drive in it today smell is very faint now almost gone :D

Feel so releaved.. Made a boost leak tester removed front bumper, drove to garage compressed it up and i got one hell of a screwed intercooler didnt even need to look hard it was hissing away :D, luckily vjay is giving me one free when i pick up the wing ive bought for £35 oooo and i fitted bigger discs now too :D Bad news is i got soooo frustrated last night that i lobbed my laptop at the living room door, its now living in the bin in a 100 pieces.

Cheeers :D well its just to get me started anyway, mine was an f1 clutch yours was xtd? I fitted an uprated pivot ball also so maybe it will help haha doubtful. Anyway hope yours goes well.

nope i havent booted it at all, smells with the slightest bit of force.

cool, my clutch isnt slipping at all BUT does stink like you said.. poooooooo does feel a bit vibraty on the foot though.

Did the clutch pedal feel like it was vibrating when you pushed it down and when pulling off? mine does. but its only done 50 miles though!!! only very slighyly though.
