Can you replace the rear oil seal with the gearbox still in and do you need any special tools to remove the seal.This could be next weeks job

Just been down the shop for a loaf of bread the car felt like it was made of jelly ,got home looked under the rear and n/s steering arm just hanging there. Justed fitted a new set of horn so while a was at that got shut of the air con rad ,compressor & bracket.What a bitch the bolts was of the back of the compressor ,left the fan in thinking of wiring that up to a switch in the car as a extra cooling for the engine rad ?

If you do the cheap de-cat by knocking out the honey comb stuff out the cats do you have to do anything else
