Is there any other way of getting under the bonnet when the cable has justed snaped

Can you just cut the belt that drives the air con compressor to see if the power is any different .So if it is not just replace the belt or if it better then go the whole way and remove the air con altogether :confused:

this week is justed getting better and better took the Z for it's MOT today and she has sailed throw all legal again can go and have some fun this weekend.Got a list of car thats been pissing me off these last few months ,especially some kid up the road in his honda who has been look down :slap: at my Z why it been on the .I know it's bullying but what the fork :D

Does the air con belt drive anything else

Just got the Z back onto tarmac after 3 months of driving round in a 2.5 turbo Pajero and the wifes n/a Z forgot how much fun and how fast :eek: it is.New short shift works a treat and the new boot install is loud a fork ,to think I was going to break her the wife and kids will go before my Z ;) I LOVE MY CAR AGAIN

After spitting my dumb out a few days ago and threatening to break her up,after trying to fix the ignition lights for the last 3 months and being let down by auto sparks :xxx:.I had one more try and found a dirty fuse not blown just old looking change it for a new clean looking one and she lit up like a christmas :dance: :hyper: :nana2: Will be back on the road tomorrow ,its been hell driving round in the wifes black Z so slow ,my Z is mucher faster being the right colour car RED :tongue:

Its finding a good just say Nissan 300 and they run a mile QUOTE=johndps]I shelled out £420 for an electric problem. It got sorted. The guys gave no indication what it COULD be, only that would charge 25 an hour. Thought it a strange way to work, but they sorted it. Visited the place while they were working on it and they had a few machine hhoked up to the car, bits disconnected etc. Finally traced to a wire from side light shorting out because paint shop put bumper back on wrong. Get a decent auto electrics guy

Greg swaped all of them with the wife's car and they all work, is there a relay or sometime in the fuse box on near side

Is there a common connection between these thing 1 rev counter 2 interior light 3 ignition lights I still not getting the ignition lights to come on when start my piece of shit Z called a number of auto sparks ,same answer it will be a fuse and will come out in a few days lying b*stards .All this because I fitted a dvd in the dash,A present of the wife for christmas her forking fault could got me some slippers & socks like always. I HATE/love MY CAR

Dave the power run from the cig ligther and is not spliced into anything I also think I have upset something but not got a clue Mantav8 sick of checking the fuses the ones in the footwell and the ones under the bonnet, even done a swap with the wifes fuses under the bonnet and still pissing in the wing :(

As I said in the 1st post I'am justed thinking out loud, the dash problem I have has been going on now 3 mths and it is get me down in a big way and I justed do not see the that forking light at the end of the long tunnel :headvswal

Got a price last from a bloke in Newton to do my ones in gunmetal grey for £25 each .See the finish on yours will deffo be getting them done
