  5. is .7 bar not standard boost?
  6. i dont know what the spring rate are i only changed the retainig rings as they crumbled away when we tried to adjust the hieght i did speak to tein about different springs but they recon that the softer springs with those dampers ,the springs may meet together or something like that
  7. i didnt think mine can be adjusted as they are at least 5 year ha,s that were fitted in japan, i had spoken to tein when i ordered up new rings and they said it was only hight adjustable , i have had a look under the bonnet and above the nut there is about 3 turns of thread showing
  8. you havnt got it in your bergan by chance to sort out the t@ssers who nicked your wheels
  9. your not wrong there ,every time i go over a pothole or bump i expect a bit of trim to fall off ,or the glass to break its such a jolt ,its been made worse since i got the car raised higher too clear speed bumps,
  10. just had the same problem turned out to be the hose on the passenger under the intake hoses that was leaking ,but would only leak after a run when you switched off the engine ,but was running to the back of the engine and dripping down at the autobox the hose didnt look split i thing the clip had weakend
  11. ok :) thats shows no faults recorded then
  12. is your ecu the same as the one in the pic
  13. ok sorry i dont know how to do links ,but type fault codes in search tab down to the result starting in "codes" go into that post ,go down to legraths reply and tab on to 1st method, this shows you step by step with pictures
  14. yup just turn ignition on then turn screw to the left for a couple of secs then turn to the right ,the led will flash along with your engine management light
  15. a few folk have said that the ones from 2 fast 2 cool on ebay are quite good and come with divorced pipes
  16. the screw is set partialy in the ecu next to the led it easier to take out the 3 screws that hold the ecu in place you can see the screw then
  17. would this make a differance with standard suspension ,i have teins at the mo but want to revert back to stock
  18. when i had my gt4 and a member of gt4oc.net there was a lot of bad issues with xs power mainly on their down pipes rusting and cracking very quickly ,badly fitting exausts and very poor customer service so i would be wary !!!
  19. personaly i wouldnt ,but then again iv had to replace my box so naturaly im very wary of what goes in my box as i dont want to replace it again so i will only put in the best grade i can get ,in fact im looking at using mercs own oil as that exceeds dextron 3 as far as im aware , but maby im being over cautious
  20. torque convertors and auto boxes are notoriously difficult to clean out ,there is prpberly some old oil from the replacement tc in the box i would go to a specialist auto transmision place and get them to power flush the box and tc to remove all the old crud out and replace/clean out the strainer that may be all thats needed ,
  21. the sensor next to the yellow one is the temp gauge sensor that might be a bit dodgy try cleaning that one as well (the yellow one is the ecu temp sensor )
  22. not sure it just ran very lumpy and was constantly trying to catch revs i used a small piece of sand paper to get right into the connectors ,using a bit of your girls emery board works well as well if that doesnt work i would do the same with the ptu, coilpack connectors and injectors ,its a bit of a process of elimination i,m afraid
  23. first sensor i would clean is the yellow one on the water elbow at the front of the engine ,there is 2 sensors on it unplug the yellow one and clean out all the green cr@p in it ,use a deep plug socket and remove the sensor intself from the water elbow and give the bottom of it a clean aswell , unplug battery for a couple of hours to reset ecu and fingers crossed , i was having an eratic idle on mine and it started to overfuel and it was the ecu water temperature sensor that was at fault on mine hope this helps mate
