as far as i know dextron 3 is the recomended choice someone might correct me tho ,i think nissan recomend it as well

the ebay ones are quite good and if you look in the add you will see different colour options and at the bottom the option of real carbon fibre for an extra £19 i think

just had an email from seller saying that he is now getting the impression that its a non turbo after all the messages he is getting ,he bought the car in october as a twin turbo and hopes it wont put people off, he has also put a message on the ebay add saying above so i think he is honest enough tho coudnt say the same about hoever sold him the car if wat he says is true

nightmare allright i did ask the d*ckhead if he pay a contribution towords he cost but guess what ,iv no money he says also told me it had kakimoto back boxes but when got car on ramp it was some obscure jap make the was holier than a tramps sock ,and when i posted on here looking for a cat back system he texted me that he had a kakimoto system in his garage that he would let me have for £150 ,so he was trying to sell back to me my exhaust that he swapped over befor i picked the car up ,howz that for f@cking cheek but thers a few folk up here that bought stuff off him and never got the goods , and i think he sold a few bits off my car and replaced them with bits off the zed that he was breaking ,its a pity i live so far away :mad:

thats good then, the contaminated tc,s are extremly hard to flush out properly ,as znut says they hold all the contaminants when i bought my car the autobox had been replaced about 3 weeks before i picked it up and the numpty used the existing tc so i went from scotland to devon to pick the car up and got about 100 miles up the road and the autobox trashed itself so had to pay for another box :( :(

there is a dipstick on the autoboxes and if i remember right from when i changed mine i think it took about 7 litres when i changed mine i used the original engine oil cooler for the autobox and fitted a larger engine oil cooler

any dextron 3 transmission fluid is good i dont think thers much differance in them ,the fitting of a larger autobox cooler is the most important thing hth

can you fit standard or eibach springs to tein coilovers as a replacement to the tein springs so as to soften the ride a bit i have tein ha,s just now sorry for the hijack

wish i could i could go but i,m in carlisle at nights during the week so can only manage weekend meets but have a good one anyway

i,v got a bonnet that just wont sit properly farted about with the catch so much i now dream about it , but it just wont sit right seems to sit higher at one side at the front and vice versa dependant on adjustment ,even had a garage try it , tried another catch from andyz but no avail so thinking sod it , might try bonnet pins instead as that will pull down both sides level ,now as mines a black zed i was thinking of carbon fibre style ones that lock so weres the best place to get these cheers peeps
