Mate, don't get an Evo... They are good for what they are but not a patch on the TTZ... You'll never be happy with the EVO and regret getting rid of your Z... You've get better turbo spool up, more bottom end driveability and more torque... If you mod your Z a little more to get to around the 400BHP mark then you'll be happy!!! Don't forget the evo is not the most aero dynamic bus around and after 130MPH they struggle to get that extra 20MPH to get to the 150MPH mark... I drove a mates EVO 6 a few years ago when my Z was standard and the evo was good but it didn't impress me... It was like being in a slightly quicker RS turbo dare I say it... Your Z is a much more slippery shape, more fuel effiecient and more exclusive.... Too many people have got Evo's and scoobies now and your back to 2Liters, family car territory!!! Best of luck whatever you decide though and it's what makes you happy at the end of the day..

Didn't clarkson ages ago test the Mitsubishi GTO and the 300ZX simultainiously saying that there was no point in getting a Ferrari cause the japanese sports cars look just as good and are more reliable and quicker??? Thanks Mac! Only another 50K to spend on it and she may just be as fast as yours one day!! Eventually I'll have some spare cash to upgrade the other things as the target i've always wanted to achieve with my Z and over the next 2 years is around the 500BHP mark... Intercoolers for me next, bigger injectors and adjustable electronic fuel regulator and fuel pump so I can run more boost... And before you beat me round the head yes the intercoolers will be bigger SIDE MOUNTS!! :D

Don't forget to squirt inside you're intercoolers too guys and gals.... They get clogged up too...

No dude! Check out my full spec in my rides section... As far as i'm aware the engine internals exept cams are standard as my Z is on it's second engine since I've had it.. Had to replace the original due to the head cracking after a burst turbo water coolant hose.. The injectors although standard have modified slightly larger nosels to give a better spray pattern and the tub's are the trick mod on my Z as well as a load of un-nesessary weight being saved too... Oh, and V-power is always used as the Fuel and Royal Purple Friction reducing oils for everything, Diff, Gearbox and Engine...

Yes the 427Bhp is at the fly and that's about as much as i'm gonna get out of her unless I go Nismo 555's or above, remap the ECU to take advantage of the bigger injectors and also upgrade the standard intercoolers too!!! To much expense at the moment and I wanna get some more body work mods done next year, get a Playstation 3, more music gear and other Z important factors like rear tyres cause there gonna need replacing in the next few months and rear discs and pads cause there on there way out too... It never ends with a Z, but worth it for all the pleasure and fun it brings when I drive it... :D
