  2. Well just gone back to work having 2 weeks off and spent the first week with my mate Scott putting a front on my Zed and doing all manner of other usefull thing's like AIV, PRVR and carbon cannister delete and bypass (EGR got deleted years ago!) as well as re routing various vac hoses to eliminate any boost leaks (Thanks to DannyZX and his boost leak tester) and removing all the corrisponding solenoids... Only thing now is my interior heater blower don't work! I know this bumper isn't to everyone's liking but I like it and that's what matters. That's what makes us all individual else we would all like the same women, tv progs ets! Here are some pic's anyway and Scott is up for anymore Z work if you can get your car's down to cornwall so give him a shout on 07886566421 Front bumper removal, notice my bent intercooler! That's what happen's when you come off a high curb! As FunkySi said the new rabbit hutch bumper out of it's wrapping. Quick trial run to see how bad these kit's alsways fit straight out the packing Scott thinking balls, what have we let ourselves in for.. A quick messure up to see what need's adding and taking off to make it fit.

  10. No mate, should be whatever you left it on... Possible loose connection to battery casuing it to reset. It may also be resetting your ECU everytime too, check your clock and see if the time stays the same on that.

  14. I'm up for this Dan as long as it's an evening one.
  15. Still not tried this yet so will go out and but some tomorrow! Haven't heard a bad thing about it yet!
  16. Had another problem since removing the front bumper, in the driver side arch lining found this Relay connector... It had a Brown relay in it but took that out as it looked like it was full of water! Can someone tell me if this is related to the Aircon Blowers as they now don't work or what else the promplem may be! I've got a display so can still change the Temp and it shows the ambient air outside.. You can hear the flaps inside altering depending on what temp it's set to but they are just not blowing air on any setting, nothing Zero, Zip! Also checked all fused in Drivers footwell and there good, engine relay fine and glove box relay's seem good. Used to work fine before so guessing this connector with the Relay has something to do with it... Could someone please confirm my suspisions as the connector itself does look like it's on it's last legs and the relay was i bit green and corroded... Have i just wiggled it too far for it to stop working... Hope someone can help and let me know what this relay is for!! Thanks!
  17. Cheers for everyones help! :hyper:
  18. Well turns out it was the pipe that led from the throttle body down into that tree of 3... Capped it anyway and so far no probs.. AIV and PVR whatever it's called thing also now removed from inner passenger wing...
  19. Have removed my carbon canister today following Robo's guide posted on this forum but have some confusion on the 3 pipes nearest the intercooler! Have installed the vacumme pipe as pictured in his diagram but the bottom pipe *Green arrow and dot" seems to be sucking in air which indicated to me boost leak! Do I block this off or is it needed to stay open for fuel pressure etc... The top one of the three has also been left open but no leak there... Very confused please help!!
  20. Big thanks to your Dad and Bro for helping you out! Can't wait till it's fired up for the first time Nick... :hyper:
