sounds a good idea, i have Datascan and no idea what half of it does. plus the other sections would be really handy too.

EGR, what is it and why do people block it off, is it something worth doing as the engine is out? found a kit on amz and wondered what it was and done.

I'll be trying it on a Almera and possibly a 200sx tonight.

I doubt half of that was real. I would imagine that Channel 4 would of contacted them before he went over there and it was all set up to make it into a program.

What's that stuff you can get that protects the paint and after applying you don't have to polish or wax it for a few years. It's a option when buying a new car?

Sorry i didn't realise that, i see why posting the datascan up wouldn't be fair. Sorry. Danny some of the people with datascan might move onto conZult if they find datascan a good bit of kit to have. I have seen how much option and control you do have with ConZult compared to datascan. That is really good for ConZult to come with what the readings should. Not something i would of expected big bonus.

Yea but this wouldn't be for support just purely for results. Does the support that comes with Conzult cover your readings/results and what they should be and how to fix the problem on the car if the results are wrong?

It could be like a result section like "Dyno Results".

It wouldn't be software or hardware support though, purely so that everyone would know what their readings should be roughly. I agree support prehaps shouldn't be handled via the club as they don't make it but what people are asking for is completely different from support you would get from a software developer.

Oh, i missed this post the other day and morning put something very similar in the suggestion area of the site. I think it would be a good idea to know what everything should be roughly reading as i just think it looks good and don't know what any of it means let alone what it should be reading. So we could have what everything should be reading and how much leway we can have on each of the readings.

Don't worry it was on channel 4 they will repeat it about 50 times on E4 then E4+1

Has anyone seen on the http://www.blazt.biz the datalog viewer, what does that do and is it worth purchasing? It looks like it puts the results into readable charts.

He also wanted to know why the show was cut, don't think he ever found this out. Yea he did but he wondered why he getting get access to that fancy thingy majigy he went too, well me thinks he could be something to do with the way you dressed and looked. :D

Anyone watch it? How annoying was the presenter, Rock on, come on etc. it was rubbish the only bit worth watching was when they finally caught up with Mr T, he was great. I want to see that interview again especially when he first walks in the room.

I heard that John Dixon does them too. all the choise so i can order i generic one then rather than having one custom done on the car.

Has anyone seen this before? Watched it last night, how much does it suck. Firstly it was really takie and i mean really takie. Secondly the test they done on the Merc were rediculous and was really unfair. The bloke put all those dents in the Celica but he smashed the window causing more drag so that test was unfair. Also the build build up until the end to see the womens collection of cars, well in my opinion for the suspension they all sucked, ok the range rover was nice and pimp but nothing special, the Merc was tatty and the other car looked so cheap. Oh and copied topgear with celebrities but who the hell was she???

oh right, so you are still mean to put it in then. But you don't have too if your willing to run a car without any, lol do you need it in the summer?? or does anti freeze do more than it say on the tin?
