Right you may have to bare with me on this one ;) My turbos went and i took my car 2 probably one of the best turbo sepcialists in the country if not Europe. They don't fit turbos as a rule just manufacture them to specification. But we had a deal that they would fit them as i was going to try a new type of turbo and if it didn't fit which it didn't i would go for a second option which was a T28/T3 hybrid. Anyway they had quoted me on fitting these turbos, while they had the engine out they said bottom end oil compression was low gaskets needed replacing and a 3 week job ended up 2 n half. now what's happening they are saying they are not going to fit the engine back in there is no point as it needs work and that i should take it somewhere else. They are telling me that they have spent time troubleshooting the engine finding problems with it. Now this is the part i need the help on as they are not fitting the engine or the turbos bac in i'm saying surely there isn't any labour charges to pay except removal as they havn't done anything else as far as i can see do you think i'm right? or should i believe they have spent x amount of time inspecting and troubleshooting the engine?

The original Menace engine is blown for sure but got my savage engine in it now. Yea it is fairly week but i've put all the alloy hopup suspension parts on. First night i used it i found that out by hitting a curb pretty much flat out.

oh right cool. i'll have another fiddle. Yea pretty sure it was hitting second gear but it kept on getting stuck in grass and stuff so wanted more torque too. I'll have to take some pics as it's huge now.

I keep producing loads of static electricity, have been for a while now, no new trainers or anything like that. Random. Anyway i have perfected it to a treat for building it up, just zapped my boss. Youch :D really hurts. i zapped him on the ear Yesterday, funny.

How annoying and frustrating are they??? mine nearly ended up booted across the garden. This is my story so far. I bought a Menace 21 which was great, started first time everytime. I then blow the engine up. After reading forums about bigger engines thought i would try to fit a Picco monster in it (.26) this didn't go to well the engine is so difficult to get running. So i gave up. I then bought a HPI Savage after a while got bored, i bought it as thinking it would be more of a monster truck but lacked power in my opinion so i then purchased the Hot Bodies big twin upgrade, this is a 2 engine modification 2x.26 tuned engines and pipes, longer shasie, bigger wheels. put it together easier enough but had big problems the mesh had to be perfect as it ripped the gears apart both the pinions and spur so i gave it to Snetterton to sort, they had it for weeks got it back with only one engine run in and working. The reason it went there was to set up the engines, run them in and do the meshing. Which they had only done the one engine well anyway the spur started to go again after about a week and was advised not to put metal ones in by snetterton but was so sick of it thought sod it so they are now in and the meshing is fine but still having engine problems one is fine but little bit un responsive but will do. The other one i can start but can't keep it going for long it just stalls and i dearant mess with the needles as last time i done that i blow up the original engine in the menace. Also i thought i would put the original Savage engine in the menace which is a bodge but will do the job but for some reason i can't get the fuel in the engine i think this is down to the exhaust not being a perfect fit. That might sound stupid but i think how it works is that the pipe coming off the exhaust to the fuel bottle pushes the fuel through and as there isn't a perfect seal the compression isn't there. Can anyone offer me any advice but keeping in mind i'm a novice??

not local but are cheap and mail order try http://www.mytyres.net also as for the size thing i'm under the impression you can go 10mm either way but is recommended to stay with the size for that rim, but you may want to get that confirmed.

Vietnam was pretty sweet might try dig up those disks later. I'm getting Special Forces tomorrow so i can practice before patch 1.3 comes out lol. Have you tried any of the map packs?

what patches/mods are you running or can recommend? or is it best to stay standered with official patches such as Special forces pack? eg. when i had Battlefield 1942 i had a mod call Desert Combat which was sweet, anything worth a try on Battlefield 2 or just stay with the norm. I'm new to Battlefield 2 so any tips or recommendations are much appreciated.

When you say that do you mean the gear kit? Have you got it installed?

have you managed to find the mod for me to allow computer players (easy ones though lol)?

was watching Top gear last night and the konsiagionlyieg hehe has 800 odd bhp but if converted to bio thingy bobby would have 900 odd bhp. so by converting to the eco friendly poo gas you actually get more power am i missing something here?

Just reading features in Special Forces add on "Online multiplayer action with 64 players on the PC" Would that resolve my problem?

Oh....... That's a real shame they ditched computer players in multiplayer just fighting 1 person in a huge level does rather suck. Patch 1.3 sounds good though but that probably wont be out for a while yet. Mark as for the mod do you know where i may be able to get this from? i'll look on file planet for it now.

Why when i set up a local multiplayer game on our network only me and my brother are playing and there are no computer players??? we are both up to date and running the same serial number. I remember playing a long time ago Battlefield 1942 on a network and there were lots of computer players, how come i don't haver any? Also what is the Euro patch all about?
