ok so if i was to get a system with de-cat they would test it as a non-cat car and allow for more emmisions?! ;-)

yea that what i thought, sounds ok then. But this would cause more emmisions without the cats though wouldnt it?

its 1990 H reg the holes are on the same section of the exhaust that the cats are!

Cybernet: would need thwe cats for the MOT otherwise it deffinatley isnt going to pass! lol! will this join from the downpipes then? how much and do you have pics?

yea thanks sounds good, have you still got both of them as i didnt realise the exhaust's were completely seperate all the way through really weird that both have holes in nearly the exact same place? Will do a search about the sensors cheers guys.

hi guys/gals, Need a bit of advice on this one. Ive got an Auto, H reg, N/A 300zx. When im stopped at a junction, lights, roundabout etc. I put my foot down and the car seems like its stalling then picks up again. It has now also stalled a couple of time and i have to put it in park then turn the ignition again, this only happens every now and then but always at the worst times! My exhaust is blowing and ive found that there are small holes before both of the cats, not too sure if this has anything to do with this problem? I also have my MOT coming up and know that my car ISN'T going to pass with the exhaust like it is, does anyone know where i can get an aftermarket exhaust system that will solve this?? Please can anyone help!

seriously considering it, even though i love the car so much! Me and the missus are looking to buy a house and cut down on a lot of things. Looking at the biggest costs the zed is up there with the fuel prices, maintenance isnt that bad for me being an n/a, but tax and insurence is a big factor as well!

yea, but wot i want is a cat1 so that i can take and leave the roof off but it is still alarmed so i dont have to worry about valubles from prying hands!

Hi everyone i am after a Cat1 alarm and immobiliser i would like one that would protect the car with the t-top off though, been looking at some of the toad alarms as i had one on my old car and was very good! Not really sure what im looking for, for the zed though?! Thanks.
