ok cool, is there a simple way of quickly getting the door card off?

the key goes in but just spins. As u tun the key there is no pressure at all.

yea thank you at least ill know how to get it off! but does this mean i am going to have to get a new lock cam? Never going to be able to sell it like this, but then again i dont really want to any way! lol.

One thing after another, after another, after another! ok so something else im gunna need some advise on, i pulled my seatbelt out the other day and now it doesnt go back in, it is all the way out now and clicked around each time i pulled it! So im guessing the ratchet mechanism thing that would usualy pull a seatbelt out has now broke too!! What are my options?? Any advise is more than welcome! Thanks Everyone!

OK so i have put some lovely little signs in my rear quarter windows each saying FOR SALE! I didnt think the car would appretiate this so when i put my key into the door to lock it the Lock barrel has gone!!!!! Thats right i dont know how or why but i cant lock my drivers door, so the missus has the lovely job of locking mine then getting out and i then lock hers! So wot can i do??!! I know one thing, get a new barrel, but does this mean i have to change the locks on all the doors glovebox boot etc??!!!! Or is there a nice easy way to de-lock my car?? (Nice and Easy, yeah right) Any info, help, or advise would be more than appretiated!!!!! Thanks everyone.

ok think ill have to check the other readings etc. There shouldnt be a blow anywhere in the exhaust as the mot tester would have picked that up. Would it be possible that the cats are knackered?

well i put some redex in before i took it down and gave it a hard run on the motorway its my daily driver too. He had the car running most of the mot and the emission test was one of the last things he did.

Co2 emissions on a petrol car are 3.5% max mine were as stated above which was twice that. I dont know if i should try and tackle the brake pipes myself though! is there a guide or anybody who lives close that could give me some advise?!!?

What can i do about the emissions, not really sure how to solve this?!

Its 1990, all cars have to be tested for emissions just not with cats.

I always take my cars to the guy so he isnt too bad. He adjusted the other light there but said the pinion has broke so might need a new headlight! Also said get some emory on the pipes. Wot pipe can you remove? 6.32% Left 5.65% Right

Hi everyone just had my dreaded mot, and no suprises it failed! Nearside + Offside rear brake pipes excessively corroded!! Nearside headlamp aim too high and too far to the right. (adjuster fault) Carbon monoxide emission content excessiive. (Both sides) Wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. To be honest though i didnt think it would fail on emissions!! What can i do to sort these failures out though!? Can the brake pipes be done easily? As i know there are expensive to do in garages etc. Please help!

got the intake pipes off gave the TB's a good clean with some wd-40 got a toothbrush in there too. gunna have a go at the IAA. on my other post about my speedo dont know if one of the guys was getting at something about my speedo not working and my steering getting heavier every now and then!

Where actually is the IAA searched all these threads etc but as someone who is fairly new to working on the zed nothing actually says where and what the IAA is!?? Also the intake tubes to my throttle bodies are really hard to get off and advise on that too!?? Please help!

Hi guys just sorting out a few probs with the motor. Ive already searched on here but couldnt really find anything. My speedo is a bit tempremental as in it hardly ever works so i dont know how fast im going! lol. Every other dial works (rev counter, odometer still puts the kph on. etc) Just my speedo never does! How can i fix this? Thanks all.
