Hi Trevor, Minimum upper grade of "40" anything else will be too thin at full operating temperatures... 😉 For some reason, I have never gotten on well with Mobil-1 and prefer to used Shell Helix Ultra 5w40 in a fully synthetic - or if I stick with the originally specified semi, it's Castrol Maganatec 10w40 We all have our preferences, ask 100 of us and you'll get 150 answers LOL!!!

This morning, I have been out in the garage, treating my Zed's leather seats with Gliptone Liquid Leather Conditioner.... .....The whole garage now smells leathery LOL!!!

Hi folks, We have a club stand at the BHP show, near Maidstone, this coming bank holiday Monday - details in the thread below.... The club has paid to participate, which includes 5 entry tickets within the price. Our NEO, Tom (TheRealNips) is already going, so that leaves 4 tickets available. Entry on the door is £25; we paid the equivalent of £15 per ticket, so as a gesture to the first 4 (subscribed) members who would like to come along with their Zed, we will give you a free pass!! Yes, FREE - but if you enjoy the show, you might decide to make a discretionary donation to the club..... 😉

Yup - OEM only..... Wix is a suitable substitute, but why deviate from Nissan's original when they are so easy and cheap to buy? Not worth the risk IMO 😉

Come on folks - this show is barely a week away, let's make it a good one..... 😉

We haven't enquired about a group discount, but I'll give it a go..... I can always cancel my room and re-book if they give one!

My first Zed was a 1991 UK-spec - that had leather but no heated seats.... And only the driver's was electric IIRC, whereas both are electric and heated in my current one!

Washed and waxed yesterday...... ......After another trip to Bath last weekend, I continued to use my Zed all week - so it got a little dirty after the rubbish weather. Nice and shiny now though 😄

I will check my garage - I did have a spare one, but may have given it to Craig a while back.

....Mine still work fine too - although they are just "on" or "off" unlike modern cars with multiple levels of heating 😄 They warm my back nicely too, a little "deep heat" treatment for us oldies, on those achy mornings 😉

Today, we took the Zed for a little drive across The Chilterns in the sunshine..... ....Stopped off at Stowe Gardens and recreated a classic photo - not just of the one I did about 5 years ago - but one from a certain book many of us have... 😉

I can't do this one sadly - only just returning from holiday that day.....
