MOT today
Thanks folks.... ....And I did mean to put it back in the garage once Julia had left for work - but as it was a nice day, and I had a dentist appointment, I decided to give the Z a little run out. Well the new brakes needed bedding in - not that I needed encouragement!! Richard:dance:

auto box
Yup - what he said.... ....Try to get as much of the old fluid out of the torque converter as you can too! Richard:cool:

What did you do to your zed today?
Just collected it from the garage with new brake pads/discs all round, a nice new Nissan oil filter and a fresh sump of Shell Helix Ultra..... .....Oh and another year's MOT....:hyper: And then I gave the inside a quick clean - it always seems to come back dusty from the garage - and put my new club stickers on the inside of the rear quarters. Cheers Gaz.... Richard:thumbup:

PayPal survey email scam
Unbelievable - but sadly there are those who still fall victim to these scams, otherwise the perpetrators would not bother... Thanks for the heads up Jeff! Richard:cool:

It reminds me of the EB110 as well..... ....And the car I remember on here with that bumper, I think belonged initially to SMW 1's (then?) wife Cerina; username XCK 1 Sadly I cannot seem to access the VERY old rides section! Richard:cool:

Break in the rain - targas off!
I agree Si; the roads are worse than ever in my opinion - and it's a really sad state of affairs when the motorways and dual carriageways are littered with pot holes.... You can do a lot more damage hitting one at 70mph - or swerving to avoid one.....

Break in the rain - targas off!
I get that Si - in my old garage, I could not get out of the car with the windows up - which is why I had to get a total closure alarm on my red ZX... I didn't want to leave the windows open all the time - even in the garage - as I have OCD and wanted to keep the dust (and insects) out of the car:biggrin:

Want!!!
I do get that - the Lambo has to feel special in comparison given the price difference and badge kudos..... ......But I guess I was expecting better from the Gallardo; given its looks, badge and reviews. The manual gearbox in the Gallardo was pretty much pointless for every day use too - which is why (if it were my money) I'd save a few £££s and by the R8 v10 with the sequential auto 'box..... I do kind of get the "Flabby TT" analogy too - so would have to be careful with the colour selection on the R8. Richard:wink:

Break in the rain - targas off!
LOL - but your car has been tucked away for the winter....

Want!!!
LOL - that Aventador's wheels are just bigger versions of those found on the Ford Focus ST..... I always liked the Diablo myself - it was a smoother and faster upgrade to the Countach IMO; and still the Lambo that would grace my own dream garage...... I like the look of the Gallardo but, having driven one, I was left disappointed. If I was in the market for such a car, I'd pick its cheaper and (some say) better cousin, the Audi R8 v10!! The Aventador is a proper mental supercar though - but would I buy one if I had the cash....? Hmmm, probably not:wink:

Break in the rain - targas off!
Yup - today was lovely and sunny here too; my Z was in the garage sadly, but I did have my roof down on the DD whilst travelling around.... Soon be summer:)
