  1. Absolutely no advantage to removing the re circs mate, they will happily do their job on 500bhp + Zed's, the use of aftermarket dump valves simply whooosh and nowt else compared to re-circs. smithy
  2. I must confess, I have this in my Zed, fiddled with it so much when i 1st got, i knew i kept ****ing it up. When i was in the Northwest, poped into DP Motorsport and watched totally amazingly how quick the guy fiddled with the buttons etc and she ran like a dream afterwards. So in short what am saying mate, you've got it fitted and running, call in somewhere who sets these things up for a living, they will do in no time what you can try and do all night long :) smithy
  3. Ferrea super alloy Valves, cost around 325 quid the set mate :) smithy
  4. Correct mate and the vac line tees in off the balance bar as a mechanical one would. the reason electricals are sooo more expensive is cos yer paying for the accuracy as well from the sensor. smithy
  5. I know yer probably sorted now mate, i just knew this was around somewhere so maybe of use to others. ;) Taken from Anders ( one of the oldies, lol) when he was in discussions with NGK! "PFR5B-11 N/A hot plug PFR6B-11 N/A cooler plug for higher BHP (This has just changed to PFR5G-11) PFR5B-11B TT hot plug PFR6B-11B TT cooler plug for higher BHP PFR7B-11B TT Even cooler for seriously high BHP The 11B's are unavailable in the UK and according to NGK are unique to the US. The UK code is PFR5B-11C, PFR6B-11C, PFR7B-11C respectivly. The difference between the B and C is a slight difference in shroud lengh to cater for country regulations. NGK also do a special racing plug with a completly different code but these plugs like the very cool PFR7B-11C's foul quickly and are more suited to race use rather than road." cheers smithy
  6. He bought it on twinturbo.net bud and at a really low price too. Bubuche, best thing is really hassle this guy and if need be state your case on the TT.net forum saying how this guy won't sort you out. Can you find any type of Numbers on any of the parts on the clutch kit ? ones starting with S or T ? are the most important ones. oh and will PM yer laterz ;) smithy
  7. Runs off to double check PM's, nope not me ;) smithy
  8. Only ever had 1 REAL piss take problem with Parcelforce in 6 years of dealing with them, other than that around 98% of them arrive on the due date with the rest usually only a day late, considering i send and receive around 700 parcels a year, am happy with em ;) cheers smithy
  9. the inside mate, most are 6mm. I have the AVC-R meself however me Zed is on the mainland so I can't check for yer. cheers smithy
  10. I've plenty of Blue 6mm and 4mm in stock mate, prices and details on me website if yer still stuck. cheers smithy
  11. If yer really quick, theres 2 travel inns, 1 on site literally and 1 about 1.5miles down the road, this one is usually slightly cheaper and quiter too. They just take card details now to reserve the room and you pay on the day of arrival. smithy
  12. There were names down for this date in the thread thats now missing bud ? anyways, good move in doing this ;) 1) smithy oh and hotel already booked :D 2)? smithy
  13. Unfortunately mate, yer discs are and thats what matters. It;s a fairly rare set up on a Zed that and it cost big bucks to source and just as big bucks to replace worn parts, it's a similar story for ANY decent aftermarket brake kit tbh, btw, paying $75 for a set of pads, ensure they are deffo the same model and year that you have ( brakes not car, lol) and at that price don't expect any increase in stopping/performance. cheers smithy
  14. r32 are same nissan calipers as z32. r33 use black or red brembo calipers, r34 use gold brembo calipers, difference between 33 and 34, nowt except the fixing bolt holes are 14mm on the 34 and 12mm on the 33, other than that they are the same caliper. cheers smithy
  15. Andy's correct in saying NGK were asked to supply plugs for the Z, the Platnium range were found to provide the best spark and last longer as Andy has found. ;) The 11b's are in fact the ones with a marginally longer shroud to futher help avoid detonation and these were supplied to the US market, UK got 11c. Only myself and a couple other companies in the UK supply the 11b platnuim plug, which as it happens are on special offer at the moment :D http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=853835&postcount=1 cheers smithy
  16. No probs mate, just for anyones info, PHNW are £320 for the full alloy Koyo and others that are sometimes offered here are £293 plus delivery. cheers smithy
  17. To order which is usually 8 days, Koyo @ £285 delivered and Howe @ £268 delivered. Should you want a new rad cap as well, Nismo @ £25 and Power enterprise @ £20 cheers smithy
  18. Idealy yes, if doing the tops you do the bottoms as well, walksonland has got it pretty spot on, plus it can cause undue strain. cheers smithy
  19. Did you just to camber arms or adjustable tension rods for caster as well ? smithy
  20. The Key way is the one thing that most have to alter to fit, i've seen 2 broken in this area as well. Fraid the statement "they are all made from the same stuff, ally" is not correct, there are over 40 different types/grades of ally used for all manner of different applications. Bloke here recently purchased a moderatly high power Zed with thousands spent on a big rebuild etc, looking down the engine bay you can see the liteweight pulley spinning totally ski wiff, checked the massive receipt book, and yep after spending so much on big name brands, a 30 quid ebay pulley. Car now has some serious knocking issues down below, we dunno what yet though. Fraid my moto is that as always used on twinturbo.net, if you have to use ebay to mod yer car for performance, you need a different ride, IMO of course :D smithy
  21. Am using titanium M8x 45mm in mine Bazz :) cheers smithy
  22. So who's Craig then chaps ?? :) smithy
  23. at an average of 75% dearer cost so they friggin should be  that said, am running ds2500's on my 6 pot kit cos they came with it and i can't wait to get shut of the buggers! dust like hell, squeel when just very warm and nowt great performance wise, but then we all know with brakes it's not just pads, it's discs they are mated to, properly working calipers, decent "working" fluid ALL play a big part in how something works, or not... cheers smithy
  24. I did mate, I also mailed Ant but think were having probs with that. But anyways, welcome to the most expensive pair of side skirts ever!! http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://www.impul.co.jp/&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=1&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dimpul%26hl%3Den getting them is no problem and delivery ain't bad either, but gees not cheap. cheers smithy
  25. Up at Lukes (zcentre) last week and I think he now has an electric fan kit ready to go to replace using the Viscous. Smithy
