  1. No there are loads of different ones. You can get mechnical or electrical ones both have advantages and disadvantages. The thread for the sender is NTP 1/8 or something, and most gauges come with the sender with that thread. You can put it on with the stock on so they both should work or instead off. I took the old sender off so the dash ones doesnt read anything. MAC is also right about the water gauge too. I have an aftermarket water gauge and while the stock gauge remains in the middle, the after market one reads temperatures between 60 and 95º. At 100ºC you should pull over and cool the car down, but at 95ºC my stock gauge wasnt even showing the engine to be a little warmer. Makis If I was you I would put some dials in that DIN space you have open at the moment if you have no plans for it. A nice Oil Pressure, Water Temperature and Volt or Oil Temp for you. Stuart Stuart
  2. Its the oil pressure sender which causes the problem. £80 for a new sender from Nissan. Most people get an after market gauge for half that price. Stuart

Seen it! :D Looks great. Nice and clean. I see your first day was a T-Top off day too. Great way to start the relationship :D Have fun Stuart P.S. You know you can put 7 pictures on 1 post?
  5. Possible. Is the oil contaminiated? It could be a faulty rad cap. Stuart
  6. Where can I get the game? Stuart
  7. That dipstick it terrible. I am yet to understande how it tells you how much fluid is in there. No the HICAS wont make any difference to which fulid to use. Stuart
  8. I was going to think of something witty to reply to that, but I am so knackered I cant be bothered. Stuart
  9. Yeah I dont mean it takes 2 or 3 goes. I mean the starter turns the engine 2 or 3 times, ie. starts after about a second or so of starter. But if my car has been left standing for a day or so. The starter doesnt even have time to turn. You dont get chance to hear that starter motor noise. As soon as I turn the key to start the car its started.
  10. Im tired. For the past 4 nights I have been up until 4am doing work. I need to sleep for a week or 3. Stuart
  11. I think the steering fluid the Z uses is actaully transmission fluid. Ask at your local car place which is best they should know. Stuart
  12. No I wasnt implying you wrote it. There are a few ideas there which I thought after I saw the film. The whole virus thing and the past "The one" people. I was just not quite a nerd enough to spend hours typing it all out ;) Stuart
  13. There has been an Elite 4 being made for years. Going back to the old style of flying where you didnt have to slow down 5 days before you reached a planet. Any one know where I can get this great game? Stuart
  14. Xbox will start to show its gap over SP2 soon as Microsoft are telling games publishers to make games for the Xbox and not just do an Xbox conversion of a SP2 game. The Xbox is way infront on power and technology over the Xbox but gamer publishers are not implimenting them into Xbox games. Plus the Xbox has a hard drive. No more memory cards for saving games, and it also allows you to connect to the internet and download new levels tracks and stuff for certain games. Stuart
  15. Yeah and dont forget your train spotting book on the way out too ;) Acutally I thought of most that stuff myself. Stuart
  16. I love the old Elite games. :D I have all 3 and could never pull my self away from them. Stuart
  17. Why does my car start better when its been standing for a few days? My Z starts up normally like every one elses I suspect, only needing a few turns before the car starts. But if my car has not been started for a few days, I hardly get time to turn to key before the starts up. I dont even hear the starter motor going. Why does it start better after being left? Strange Stuart
  18. Im sounding like a broken record now ;) Clean your PTU. This is how my car first started to get ill. But at first I would get to 5000rpm and then it was like my car just died. The revs then came lower to about 4000 and then after that around 3000rpm before completely giving up on me :( Stuart
  19. This is where I got my Radio from. Very fast service. They have some very good offers on sometimes, including one when a JVC radio was down to just £300 when the RRP was close to £600. That offer didnt last long. ;) Much to AY3388 discust. Stuart
  20. I want to re-encode it as the video is very jumpy. Stuart
  21. There is a brakers in Manchester called A1-Jap. They have loads of ZXs there. Stuart
  22. Its alright saying it looks good, but if it drives like poop its no good. Hasnt Johnny got 19s on his but he wished he stayed with 18s? Stuart
  23. LOL. Its only a 30 second vid of when we pulled out. Each car is only on for a second or 2. I will try to upload somewhere Stuart
  24. I found a little vid clip of the last meeting when we all drove off. I love the colour of your car especially when the sun hits it. Stuart
