  1. Try resetting the ECU. It may not work but it works for a few people and is the cheapest thing to try. Disconnect the battery for 2 hours or so. This will reset all the ECU and autobax ECU this may help
  2. I dont think Pemberton Tyres will charge to use spare wheels if then have any in. I go there often enough ;) The need refurbishing too though. The problem I have is the alloy wheels have become pourus and are leaking. Plus there is a little bit of kurbing on the wheels. What you think of painting them too though? Should I do it? Or do the stock wheels look better the colour they are? Stuart.
  3. There are a few Zs like that. Not many but a few. I have seen ones with Supra engines and some with Skyline engines in.
  4. Yeah I have still got standard wheels. Wez. I will try Pem-Tyres but every time I have been in there and some one has asked, they usually say contact the place yourself. Not in a nasty way, it just cuts out the middle man. Considering that I am saving for new wheels, should I have a little play and get thses painted? The alloys I am saving for are white. Should I get these done white to see if it looks good, rather than spend thousands on white alloys and then dont like it? Stuart.
  5. My alloy wheels need to be refurbished. 2 wheels keep slowly losing pressure which is not caused by punctures. I took it to my local tyre place and they said that the alloys are leaking round the rim. The tyres where taken off, the rims cleaned and the tyres resealed back on and they both still leak. Will refurbishing them help fix the problem? I have been told it would, but spending a few hundred on a refurbish is not what I want especially when I am saving up to get new wheels. Any one reckomend a good place to get them done? Stuart

  8. Problem IF this goes ahead, is our car will now be unsellable. Who can afford £400 a year tax? I can afford it but I dont want to pay that much as it is too much for me.

  11. You will know of it when you pads only last 2 weeks ;)
  12. I think it a Z thing. If I press the brake lightly and then press really hard the brakes work really well. If I press the brakes hard from the start, it really bad. But I do have the same thing as you. Press the brake the 2nd time round and it feels better. Stuart
  13. I dont know but the wheel police would be on to you if you keep them that way round ;)
  14. Recylebin? Can that be recycled into anything ;)

Have it on a classic policy where you dont need any NCB but you need a 2nd car. Tesco do a good quote for young drivers for the Z, but I had 3 years NCB when I was 21 and it was still £1300. I think yours will be over the £2000 Stuart
  19. I bought my Z with my student loan. I was going to save it all and get a Z when I finish uni, but my Astra was stolen when I was in my 1st year and instead of buying a for a grand or so to last me for a while I went straight for the Z. :D Best looking car in the carpark. There are also a lot of people driving DADDIES CAR or one that DADDY bought. EVO 8, loads of new BMWs. Stuart
  20. Did it have really wide arches and a spoiler on the roof? If it did, it's a 6R4. 3 litre V6 4 Wheel drive. Very fast. Some people have turboed them and they are just mad.
  21. What do these look like? Mine fits quite well but not perfect. Any one got a picture of one?

You will really need some one near to you as, taking their PTU off will mean they dont have a working car for a while. Have you done a ECU Diag? Stuart
  23. Business days. What a load of crock. The business I work for closes for 2 days a year. Christmas Eve and Christmas day, so what is the other compaies excuse when some I ordered takes 3 weeks  Hehehehe Anyway. You are a lucky boy! There are many good people out there. You only ever hear about the bad ones. Stuart
  24. Least you have a good SU. Ours is the biggest dump in the history or Universities. Every University I have seen advertised on TV always show people having fun in a nice SU, but Salford advert didnt. I think they actually did film somthing in the SU, but where mugged on the way out and they took the camera ;) Stuart
  25. But if you make a system which still uses the T-Piece and 1 MAS would you still need to? Or would it still be restricted? It must increase the airflow, but probably not as much if you have one on each side. Stuart
