Are you pressing the front windscreen blower button? its the one next to the Auto button. If it is not working, it could be the motors in the heater not closing and opening shutters to direct the air. Stuart

I had a monopod and I stood it up behind the passenger seat and leand it against it. Then put tape around the head of the seat also going round the monopod.

It is in 4 months. What are you going to do which will take more than 4 months? The car is not made for cruising, otherwise they wouldnt have put the top speed of it over 170mph.

There where Fiestas there because they probalby had a chance in their category. 300ZXs are very cheap at the momeny and people who have got the money to spend £20,000-£30,0000 to really tune up a car to show off will spend it on a Skyline or Supra as the car is worth more in the first place. Plus the Z is not that easy to tune, or cheap, because of the V configuration and the cramped engine bay. If all goes well, there maybe one mean 300ZX there. ;) Stuart

The going rate for Zs is going down and down. If it is not really costing you anything where it is, I would keep hold of it and make myself go out in it. Go for weekends in the country with your misses/girlfriend/girl you just met. I have been on 3 holidays with my Z I think it made it more enjoyable. Stuart

If you want speed camera in towns, look at Blackburn. I know of 3 on 1 peice of road, all are near the bottom steep hills. I also see a police car parked up just over the brow of a hill catching people coming over it. Next time I think I will park right infront of the police car and put the bonnet up and say I have a problem. ;) Cant stop me :D

I dont think the DVLA really pay much attention, considering they thing there are a few 1986 Z32 in this country. ;)

The head of Wales police was on TV a few days ago. Wales catches twice as many people speeding than anywhere else in the country. All he kept saying is 3400 people die on the roads every year, bla bla bla bla. However, NO-ONE has actually asked him, out of the 3400 people who have died on the road, how many purely because some one was speeding? I have seen some stats and it is less than 2%. The highest reason is not looking/paying attention. Then is was people not judging speeds and distances correctly. He says speed cameras make the roads safer, but they dont catch people driving 2 inches from the back of your car on the motorway, or people pulling out on you without indicating. Or people darting accross lanes or weaving in and out of traffic. I think that is more dangerous. Stuart

I havent got room for a project car. I dont have a full time job yet so money is a big problem, it my parents house and their drive and my mum isnt really happy about having a car in bits on the drive.

Any body want to make me an offer? Be a good cheap car for someone to use as a project.

It had the 60k service about 3000 miles ago. :mad: I went to the garage and they had a quick look. It is oil coming out of the exhaust and there is oil on the top part of the turbos. The Oil blowing from the exhaust is it getting into the breather system, so it is either PCV (or what ever) going, or it could be a stuck ring, or the turbos are going. I will do a compression test in a few weekends, but either way it is not looking good. I was wondering how much I could get selling it for parts. :( :cry: Stuart
