  1. I think that belt needs adjusting a bit ;)
  2. Mines a Jap as well, but I havent got one, like I say it was an factory fitted option.
  3. As far as I'm awear, they are factory fitted to JDM motors as an option. You press a button in the dash, and they extend so that you can see where the leading edge of your bumper is when parking. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong ;)
  4. I was just about to say that, then I noticed I was too late, by a few hours  b19 rks, does your parking ariel work, not seen one working yet. Nice plate btw
  5. NO! But the driver might ;)
  6. Nah, this is f***ing funny :D    Actually, I've just sat here and read all of that :slap: The article is quite interesting, in a strange way. No seriously, it is, isnt it? Ermmmmmmmmmmmm............................ isnt it?????????????????? :slap:
  7. Yeah, I'm working tha Saturday as well, but going on the Sunday for sure, unless it's p155ing it down :(
  8. Getting a bit touchy aint we all?? At the end of the day, you've paid your hard-earned and brought what YOU want to drive, if you think it's the best, then thats your opinion, and your entitled to it. Personally I know there are better cars out there than the Z32, but I like my car, and untill I can afford the £15K+ for a decent GT-R34, I'll stick with it. If you like a Skyline, a Supra, an MR2, a S13 or a Datsun Sunny 1.1, then (if you can afford it) you buy whatever you want. Nuff Zed!! :D
  9. Silver TT import in Grantham yesterday (16th)about 11:40, on Harlaxton road, near the fire station. And today (17th), saw a silver NA (i think) near the roundabout at McDonalds, Fosse Park Leicester, around 4ish. And for once I was in the Zed today :D
  10. Mark here's a link, gives you a map. Link Clarkey posted my pics from last years for me, I was going to post the link for you, but the pics come up as a red X, no pics
  11. Not yet, drivers seat still at the upholsterers, will post some when they are all in the car.
  12. No disrespect to anyone else, heres a decent pic of the Mongoose zorst ;)
  13. Daves_Zed posted a topic in Events - UK
As I cant see much on this recentley, I thought I'd post a quick reminder about this event. Japanese Auto and Performance Show (JAPS) Thoresby Hall Thoresby Park Ollerton Notts NG22 9WH Tel: 01623 821 000 Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th June 2004 All the useuall Jap car clubs and makes are represented, along with Jap motor bikes. MAP The park is on the A614 Nottingham to Doncaster road, 2 miles north of Ollerton and will be fully signposted. If you are coming via the M1, leave the motorway at junction 31 and follow the A57 past Worksop to the roundabout on the A1. The venue is then 2 miles south on the A614 Link For Thoresby Hall hotel (Some additional info stolen from a previous post ;), cheers AndyP :duffer: )
  14. Agree, they do 30% and 50% brighter bulbs. If it's a Jap import and your fogs havent been changed before, there may be a 'Bulit' type connector on yours, but the new one will come as a spade, just change the one on the car, easier for the future. Also, if its a Jap, do the mod for the headlamps :D Jap Headlamp Mod Link HTH
  15. Nice to hear that you are getting your Zed back Mark. Are you bringing it to JAPS at Thoresby Hall on the 26/27th? Also agree with Houghtons.
  16. Words just can not express what I feel. RIP
  17. I've run a few differant ones in the past, but I'm currentley using Norton AntiVirus 2003, and McAfee as my firewall, along with SpyBot search and Destroy for spyware. I'm also running Panicware's Pop-Up Stopper. All of these seem to work well with each other. Norton updates itself automatically, and SpyBot is a very good programme. HTH
  18. You've missed a bit ;) Top job mate
  19. Very interesting article Mark. Saved it :D, it could come in handy!
  20. Agree with this, although I like the front view, I think the rear is totally pants .............................Now where's that puke smilie gone ;)
  21. Sorry Chris, I didnt make that clear did I :slap:, I meant I'm haveing the leather repaired, ready for putting back onto the seat. Unless you realised that was what i meant  But to answer your question, I dont know yet, sorry.
  22. I'm having the drivers side bolster repaired in readyness for placing onto my drivers seat. While I'm having this done I'm going to ask the upholsterer to make me up some leather hand brake gators, I beleive I'll have enough for four gators from the amount of leather I've got. One will be for my car, a second will be for someone elses (already per-booked ;)), so hopefully I'll have two more up for sale. They'll be in BLACK ONLY, with a press stud, but NOT with a metal frame. I DO NOT know how much I'll sell them for, as I dont yet know how much they are going to cost me ;). Let me know, if you are interested, either by PM or below. If I can have them made at a reasonable price, and can get hold of some more leather, and if there is enough interest, then I'll try and get some more made up. At this time I cant do manual gear stick gators, as I dont have a template.
  23. I'll see if anyone is going to JAPS in two weeks time, that has a ConZult :D or failing that it'll have to wait till JAE. Like I said not too concerned as it only happends when I floor it, and it wont be used like that much over the next few weeks anyway. I assume your phone looks somthing like this now :D,
  24. Thanks for that Clarkey, let me explain a little more; If I slam my foot to the floor, and keep it there, the cat light will come on after approx 10 - 15 seconds of full power. Once I let my foot ease off, and once they have cooled sufficientley, the light goes off and stays off untill I do it again. But if I just accelerate gentley, or without flooring it completeley, this doesn't happen. AFR? I take it it means Air Flow Rate? Is this adjustable? What could I do. This was put on TonyC's ConZult at the last Midlands meet, and everything checked out OK. This was while I was having all the problems, but didnt show up on the test, but then it runs fine when it's not being floored. PS - Glad you like the phone button :D
  25. Sorted a few little problems out, but best of all sorted my bad running prob :D Following this thread, Acceleration Problem , Ive taken the the advise of andyduff, and checked out the PTU connectors, which looked like this, And the PTU itself, And given them a good clean up, also checked the coil pack connectors, and they were perfect, no corrosion at all, clean as a whistle :D It's working fine now, except for the cat light comming on if I floor it for too long, but not too worried about this, as I'm going to have my ecu chipped to get rid of the limiter, and will see from there. Good advise, thanks very much Andy  :duffer:
