And eventually it may even get a '99 spec front as well :D Saw one on a Zed the same colour as mine on the Z1 site the other day, looks very cool :D

Spoiler replacement
It's looking like it'll have to go to a bodyshop, as the boot lid will require attention now :( More bloody expense. As i've got a little mini sprayer, I was going to give it a try myself, but I'm not tackling the lid as well.

It's not bubbles, but where it's been prised off the other car, I'm told it should 'Heat' out, as there is no cracking or bubbling at all on it. Apart from the rippling, it's in good nick. Additional ----- I've just been out to wash off the grime, and I've found a problem, the front edge of the old spolier is further forward than the stock one. Over the time the other one has been on, it's rubbed on the paintwork and scratched it :( So this is starting to look like a bigger job than before.................. bugger.

This will look real nice with my new '99 look rear, complete with EL centre panel :D

Spoiler replacement
Yeah, before I brought my Zed I was wondering whether to have one with stock or go for a medium height spoiler, as I'm not keen on the real high ones. But when I saw this one I liked it, but I do like the stock look better.

Spoiler replacement
The spoiler was sold the day I came up with the idea :D In fact it was only an idea at the time. SUFFOLKZX will be the new proud owner, just PM'd him to let him know it's ready for collection :D

Spoiler replacement
OK, I've started to replace my spoiler this morning, but as usuall rain stopped play  The removal of the old one went as according to plan as it could of, considering I wasn't sure how it was attached :D First a pic of what it used to look like; Centre trim panel was removed from the inside, followed by the two rubber strips, one down each side. Four bolts held the main part inplace, two of which were hidden under the boot-lid bump-stop rubbers. Two of the holes can be seen in this pic, from the outside; Once this was removed, the centre panel could be removed. This was acheived by un-doing four nuts from the inside of the boot lid, captive bolts are held into the spoiler fill panel. This pic shows the OEM Spolier fixing holes in Blue and the new additional hols in Red; Once all was off the car, I gave the OEM one a trial fit; As you can see from here some cleaning will be required; All of the boot lid will be cleaned, and any redundant holes will be sealed before the OEM spoiler can be fitted, also the spoiler requires painting, as silver on red just doesn't look right :D

Consequences of your whingeing
Chris, have you actually seen any other performance car forum sites???? Well i'm a member of at least 5 sites (and I'm quite sure that a lot of others also are, that on here) and this sort of thing goes on all over the place. Lets take one of your examples, the PTU, if it wasnt for people 'Bitching' about it, then I probably wouldn't have found my fault quite so easily. My Zed is 12 years old, and I don't expect it to be totally trouble free in any shape or form for ever. But reading someone post on here that they are haveing this problem, and then someone else coming back with a possible solution to sort it, is the main reason for why I'm here!! BTW, nice way to introduce yourself to us, cant wait for the responses to any questions you may put on here --- or shall I say lack of responses!! "How To Win Friends And Influence People"

Lambo Doors on a Z? YES PLEASE!
I was also very unsure regarding getting in properly, but Matt showed me the car and I was very impressed, it looks a lot easier than you'd think. I was thinking that the doors just go straight up, somehow, but on seeing that they come out a way then go up it gives you more room to get in. I like this sort of mod, as it keeps to the original lines of the car, well when you doors are shut anyway :D No offence to the guys with body kits on, as i respect a well fitted kit  Can I justify spending that sort of money, at the moment, NO :( But we'll see what the future brings.
