  1. Geoff, It's been nice in the past to have conversed on here with you :D Good luck with the Lotus mate, and hope to see you pop up from time-to-time. Keep it shiney side up, and in a straight line ;) :hyper: :D
  2. Check out the additional mod at the bottom... using the cruise control switch as a way of switching the alarm on and off. I dont get it....The alarm is still connected when the cruise is off, and the alarm is dissabled when the cruise is on  Whats the point in that??????? ie; If you are NOT using cruise, so you are accelerating, you go past 105mph, and the alarm comes on!! If you ARE using cruise, you have ALREADY reached your desired speed and are NO LONGER accelerating!!!! So the alarm wouldn't come on anyway !!!!!!!!! Am i right, or what??

It's only the biggest JAP show in the country!!!! It's called Japanese Auto Extraveganza (JAE), at the Billings Aquadrome, Northants. Do a search (loads of info on here) or take a look at this link to see what went on this year.
  5. Yep i've just completed this as well, but i took my Tweed off and put Matty's old UK spec leather on. Just had the usuall drivers side bolster damage, but had a new panel stitched in by an upholsterer. now it's on you can hardly tell the difference.................. just looking forward to the group buy on the leather restoration kit, and it'll look brand new :D Before I put the leather over the drivers back rest on, I cleaned up all the side bolster foam and then stuck some Duck tape on to strengthen it all up, and now the leather is on you cant tell from the outside. Once the kits here and its all clean, I'll post some pics.
  6. Did you start from the beginning, on the FUN part?? Thats where I started, and it works fine. Otherwise, I have no idea.
  7. I'm at work.....What else am I supose to do ;)???????????
  8. Have you tried, http://www.skylineowners.com Worth a shot, as there are quite a few owners of the GTS on there. Not everyone can afford a GTR ;)
  9. Just found this on the skylinesowners site. Been playing it all morning :D Lemmings
  10. Here you go, three I've got :D
  11. Thanks for that, just wondered if there was a specific one that someone would recomend.
  12. What do you recomend for cleaning electrical connections on our Zeds???? The main item I'm bothered about at the mo, is my PTU connections. I've scrapped the green scum off the PTU itself, but cant seem to get at the plug connections.................. So is there some sort of spray cleaner that will do the job for me?................ Obviously the best option is to fit a series two PTU complete with harness, and re-locate it.............. but that might come later. :D TIA
  13. Cant agree more, I'm with Orange, and when I lost mine early last year I received my replacement within 36 hours!!!! I was well impressed with that, as they said it could take upto 4 days to turn up.
  14. Bloody Hell!!!! What were you both doing???? Couldn't you both just sit still ;)
  15. PMSFL
  16. Pete, My first daughter was CS.............. Advice???? Ermmmmm nothing much, but just give plenty of encouragement. One thing though, the damm injection is still painfull, so be there for her, in mind as well as body i mean. She may also have the 'Shakes' afterwards, so it's nothing un-toward in that, but just so that you know to expect it. Apart from that, and some disscomfort, it is far less painfull for her. Not nice to see the one you love in pain during childbirth. One thing........... at least she won't be shouting things like, "I'LL NEVER LET YOU ANYWHERE NEAR ME AGAIN!!!!!!!!" lol  Anyway, heres wishing all the best for all of you in the years to come mate ;) :duffer: :duffer: Well done.
  17. Was it me that missed the your point, or did you miss my point in this thread?? :x: They are PhotoShopped PHOTO'S!!!!!!!! ie; NOT REAL :p A way of experimenting with a certain look before you do a mod. Quite a good idea, without spending thousands of £'s, and then thinking "That looks sh1te" :D
  18. Seen this link on another site, so checked it out...................... Some very nice work on there. Just as an example............. Link To Site There is also a Tutorial section, showing how you can use PhotoShop to do similar effects. Very nice if you like that sort of thing, which I like to mess around with when I've got the time.
  19. That black die-cast one is the same as my new red one :D There are some discrepancies with it, if you've noticed; 1) It has a '99 spec front bumper........ But is Left Hand Drive !!!!!!! Did'nt think they made any Left Hand Drive versions of the '99 spec?? 2) The petrol flap is BEHIND the rear wheel, making it a 2+2......... But there are only TWO seats :D lol  :p
  20. Just done a corrency convertion on the price..... £46.65
  21. The tamiya model i got hold of in a model shop in Nottingham about xmass 2002, the green one i got hold of at the Jap show back in April this year, and I've seen the Tamiya one as well this year, so they are still available. Saying that, when i brought the green one, I'd never seen it before, or since either. The metal die-cast one I got at Billings this year, I'd never seen before either. Just check out all the stalls at the various shows.
  22. Hmmmmm :D looks like a good idea, but then i dont smoke, not that that'll stop me :D lol Depends on price..... group buy anyone :D
  23. Steve, Very nice lighter, where'd you find it? These are two of mine, I've also got a 1/43rd scale die-cast one in silver, and now (picked up at Billings) a 1/24th scale die-cast one in red :D
