Help -am I being ripped off? (stereo)
Yeah I've got this problem as well. Both my Sony units cant have the trim fitted, but I'm now thinking of mounting it using the cars cage behind (as mentioned above) instead of the standard iso cage supplied with the unit. But as mine is a motorised drop down panel, will it fully open?

White Zed, Hucknall
Spotted on the side of the A611, at the Bestwood Roundabout of the Hucknall by-pass. N reg 300ZX N/A, in white, two ladies inside, one in the back and pone in the passenger seat. Would have stopped to see what was wrong, but had to drop somthing off, but decided to stop if you were still there on my way back. But when I returned there was a large white van behind you. Hope you got sorted.

Simple headlight problem?
Sorry, I forgot :slap: Right, here you go, i hope SRRAE doesn't mind me borowing his pic  With your front end removed, this is what it looks like. In the BLUE circles are the holes for the bolts to come up from below, and circled in YELLOW are the holes that the captive bolts drop down through (hope that makes sense) The adjusters are then accessible from the rear.

NZR - speeding fine! (yeah, I know...)
As far as i'm awear you can denie that it is you driving, unless they have a photo of you from the front and that clearly shows that it is you. You should not admit to being the driver at this point. Phone the issuing police station up and explain that as it was so long ago, you do not know who the driver might have been. Then ask if the photo shows who was driving, explaining that more than one person could have been driving the vehicle at that time. And if you can string it out long enough, they will probably dismiss it :D, they did with me when no-one could prove who was in the works van  HTH

Simple headlight problem?
Right, the headlamp sits in a flat plate (for want of a better description ;)) At the rear of the lamp unit there are two welded-in nuts, of which two bolts come up from below. At the front there are two fixed bolts that go through the plate and then have two nuts put on underneath (12mm spanner) All of this is then secure/fixed, the adjustment is by three plastic adjusters on the rear of the lamp unit, but these can dry out and jam or get damaged. An MOT centre or even your local garage will be able to adjust these (if they arnt broken/jammed) and then set them up to the standard level. Unless there is further accident damage?! Good luck EDIT*** I'll post some pics later, but I'm at work at the mo :D;)

Advice Needed - Several Problems
Have you tried to go back to the place you brought it from (persoming a trader??) I'd have said that if the heater matrix has gone, and if you have any sort of warranty ( which you should have if you brought it only a few weeks ago) then the matrix should be covered. Anyway its worth a try. Also congrats on your new found love :D
