re-trimmed seats...
I re-trimmed my panels in black, seemed like a good idea at the time, but now with the black leather seats it's all black!! Too much. So I'm going for dark red leather on the panels this time, just somthing to break it up a bit, but keeping in with the colour scheme of the car, if you see what I mean.

Sofi Fatale's 300ZX (Kill Bill)
   Yeah, very probably. Just had another look, and it looks like a shorty, but it's difficult to tell, as it passes by quickly!

Sofi Fatale's 300ZX (Kill Bill)
I've read on here about the dark blue Z32 in Kill Bill 1, and I've seen the film a couple of times, but I've never seen pics of it on here before, so I thought I'd post a few :D As 'The Bride' bundles Sofi Fatale's body into the boot of the Zed, you clearly hear the boot lid 'creek' as she opens it  nice to see it's not only ours in the Uk that do that ;) Hope you like them. ;)

Shes Gone
That's it, my Zed is gone....... :( But only to my dads house untill shes all sorted out with new brakes, wheels/tyres and some bodywork (hopefully including a new 99 spoiler) Oh, and the most important reason, untill I can afford to insure and tax her. So Eliza's been SORN'd for the time being, but then as it's winter, and it looks like being a bit of a crappy one at that, I think she's in the best place. Added to that that hopefully i will have sold my house by then, I won't then have any problems moving her later before shes ready. At least I got to have a little bit of fun with her in the snow driving back from Leicester to Grantham on tuesday morning ( I now know that the ABS works ;) ) and this morning driving down to my dads house (even though I did almost hit the gate post as she slid sideways while reversing in  ) I'll post various bits and bobs up on here as I complete all the various stages.

Think my motor is dead - can't believe it :(
Really glad you've found your problem. As for relocating it, it really pertains to the series 1 version, to help prevent against too much heat exposure. Saying that I moved my new series 2 to the centre section between the headlamps, but I was able to do this (without any further drilling) because I also fitted an induction kit at the same time. I also hard wired the new adaptor lead as well (as in, I took out the additional plug and jointed it straight through) It's not a difficult job to relocate it, but you do need to open up the loom right back to the near-side wing area, and then feed the wiring through into the centre section (loom tape is easily available on the internet)

Traders?? Anyone? Indicator Mirrors...
Thanks Danny for that, bloody typical!! As all their site is in Japanese, and they don't accept foreign currency, you'd think they don't want to trade with the rest of the world. Keep us informed please, but at around the £300 mark, I wouldn't bother, far too expensive for a bit of bling.

Traders?? Anyone? Indicator Mirrors...
This is taken from the Jap Falcon site, so they are available in Japan. Is there any chance they could be available over here, any of the traders could get hold of them? It's only the outter case.

Pics of new facelift...

Smoothing off of bumpers.
Just been down to the mechanic (none-Zed related) and was talking about this procedure with him. He said that you can do a High-Line filler on the back bumper, then smooth it off. So after seeing the final results on jaffaZ32's car (which I think looks fantastic  ) I'll almost defo have this done on mine in the new year.

Some bad news
Bloody hell mate, I really don't know what to say :( Our condolences to you and your family, take it easy bud. Dave & Karen.

Help im thick lights
I do beleive that the pic attached is your car (complete with my car in the background, with the box that your leather came in with the old leather inside it :D ), and unless the lamps have been changed, you've got side lights/indicators in the front bumper, along with indicator lenses on the outter side of them, or did Matty get around to fitting proper fogs? Either way, if it still looks like this, then you defo haven't got front fogs :D
-
Help im thick lights
Sorry, I wrote that before I realised what car you had. In that case I wouldn't worry about the adjustment, as it won't affect anything important :D
-
Finally got it sorted
Nice to see you've subscribed Andrew, also nice to see another guy from Lincs :D Once your Subscribed status comes up, get some pics of Mattys old car up, although I've probably got some I could give you :D lol Thats a very nice Zed he had, hope you can make it to some of the Midlands meets in the new year.

Smoothing off of bumpers.
Isn't that what James did with his? I wouldn't mind getting rid of the stone-chip ripple on mine as well, especially as I've got some rust to be sorted just forward of the rear off-side wheel arch, and I've got my new rear bumper to paint, could be a good time to have it done. Anyone know how difficult all this could be (I would still keep the swag-line though)?

Help im thick lights
Your side lights wont be pointing anywhere, as they arnt strong enough to be a problem, but your fogs may have been affected!

is your surname Slade?
