  4. John, It's probable the out going contact on the PCB within the window modual. This is what happened to mine, it drove me mad trying to find the fault. I found I had a dry joint where the contact solders onto the PCB, I can't remember which one at the mo, but will try and find my original post about it. HTH

Well i won't be now, as I've just handed in my notice today :D I received a phone call last Friday, from my old boss, saying that if I was interested, I've got a job with them. Well I went to see him yesterday afternoon, and we disscussed the details, I've seen my boss this morning and also disscussed the details, and I leave here on January 27th :D I am somwhat chuffed at the moment :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: So i go from this nice warm office based job, to working out in all weathers ;) AND I'll have to start working for a living again
  8. I left mine on, on the door cards following advice.
  9. Arrrrrrrrrrr! Missed that ;)
  10. I could be wrong, but isn't that for LHD? As the beam patten is supposed to be to the left, and not the right (as in the diagram).
  11. Didn't know that the Zed was a Sports Utility Vehicle
  12. I've been toying with the idea of putting a 99 spec rear on my smooth rear end :x: But, like you, I also like the smooth look (in more ways than one ;) ) Then I do miss somthing at the back end, and I think the 99 one does do it justice in keeping the smoothness at the same time. I not much help, am I? :nelson:
  13. Hi John, It isn't at the mo, but it has been checked both on the main and extension, no difference. Mine I'm on now is always on a secondery socket + an extension with no problems.
  14. Right, I've tried the 105 (karens) modem on my PC, no problems. I've tried some possibles that were on the web site that Steevo put up but no joy. And I've even downloaded the modem drivers direct from BT's web site and still no joy. Incidentley, the engineer from BT checked the (karens) line, extensions and everything else (including the 105 modem) with his own lap top, and everything worked fine for him. This is really pissing me off big time, but at least looking at the web site that Steevo put up, it looks like I'm not the only one having these problems.
  15. I've not tried Karens modem on mine, but my 100 works fine on my PC, but still doesn't work on hers, if you see where I'm coming from.
  16. Yes, PC is recognising the modem, no problem there. Also I've got a BT Voyager 100 which works perfectley on my PC, which is the one that I tried it against.
  17. Nope, BT engineer check all that, and he check the incoming signal with his own laptop, using the modem, no problems.
  18. Right, first off all this is a BT Voyager 105 connecting with AOL, so please no remarks about AOL being crap, or even the Voyager, as that wont help me, thank you. Right, when I built the PC for Karen I used my Windows XP discs with service pack 2, and basically all the same components as my pc is running. Well Karen was on AOL Dial-Up, but has decided to go for Broadband, no problems I think, as that is my set-up. So I come to install the modem, using the installation CD supplied, just the same way as I have with my own. Everything installed as it should have done, but this is where tha problem arose..... The modem is receiving power, and the PC is recognising it, but it's coming back with 'No Signal', so I assume that there is a problem with the BT line. To cut a long story short, there has been two BT engineers out so far, and they have both said that there is nothing wrong with the line. Tonight I have brought Karens PC home with me and installed it onto my BT line, with her modem, still the same, so I installed my modem, being an earlier version (along with my drivers for it), and still no joy!!! I've checked all the settings that I could think of/ find and they are the same as on my PC! WTF could be wrong? I'm running, Celeron 2.6, 768 Ram Karens running, Pentium 1.0, 256 ram Can't see any problems with that lot, oh and YES i did dissable the firewall, just in case. TIA
  19. I would say from the lack of an answer on here, no-one really knows for sure. But, if you can read Japanese, then take a look here, it gives you all the specs for the '99 year. But as it's the Japanese Nissan site, there could be a language problem here ;)
  20. Whats wrong with wonky bananas? :smw:
  21. Oh yeah, good point, mine are grafted in from my old Jap one.
  22. Or even a UK spec bumper on a Jap spec car :D Sorry for size of pic, and quality.
  23. If you do a search for Dash Kits, there are a few about on here.
