just bough these.......
Correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't standard Stop and Tail (bayonet type) lamps got off-set locating pins, and the standard indicator lamp got opposing pins? If so, then how did you get them to fit properly? Other than that, they look the dogs mate, very nice indeed.

Some people love to dream...
I would say that the hole in the consol is for a Jap parking aid switch. Nice neat cutting, but makes the panel almost useless to anyone wanting an un-molested one, which most would. Yeah I'd agree with most here, a bit over priced, but then a lot of secondhand parts seem to be for the Zed, rip-off Britain as usual ;)

Whats the secret to removing the bottom cam cover??
I'm sorry to say, but that has got to be the most absolutley irrisponsible, stupidest way ever to remove the bolt!!! That bolt is in there bloody tight, if it's braced it could do some damage to the engine, or if it's being held, it could take your bloody hand off! I know, my bolt took a hell of a lot of getting off! My, non-ratchet, bar knows, has it's got quite a bend in it now. EDIT** It's a 27mm socket required as well.

Big Boys Toys
I'm a little biased towards Sony, all my TV viewing kit, and both units in both of my cars are all Sony. And I certainly ain't (really good English there  ) knocking Panasonic, as I have every respect for them, they produce some very good kit indeed. I had a top-end Panasonic DVD player, with the built-in Dolby Digital 5.1 decoder, for a number of years, and the only reason i got rid of it, was because it didn't play anything other than original pre-recorded DVD's, otherwise I'd still have it. I might even still go for a plasma yet, will have to see what's on offer at the time :D

 pmsl, I don't have that problem ;) TBH, I was originally looking at the 42", but there are some damm good deals on the 50. Someone told me last year that the plasma's have a limited life span, and that a lot of household insurance companies won't cover them!! Viewing angle isn't a problem for me, I sit straight-on to the set, stuff anyone else  ;)

Ooooooo nice set-up  Could do with a bigger screen though ;) and are those speakers big enough ;) I'm hoping to be going for this.... It's the new Sony 50" bravia LCD rear projection TV, should go very nicely with my new up-coming Media Center :D

Fan Belt Arrangement Diagram
It's Photoshoped from the Nissan Accident repair manual, I've got the entire booked scaned and formated as a pdf file. I just remembered, last night, that someone was asking for the layout of the belts a few weeks back, so thought I'd post it up. It's a very good book, but doesn't include everything. Saying that it does give body panel part numbers, glass, lights etc. It's only for the European Zed (so the part numbers are relivent to the local Nissan garage), and the book was produced in 1990.

look ferrari
A few people here have said that it looks nothing like a Ferrari, well I'm sorry, but I beg to differ. Although it is trying to look like Testarossa.... Looking at the side profile, and especially the forward area, there is a definate appearance of a Ferrari 512 BB........ So, in all honesty, can anyone really say that it doesn't look anything like a real Ferrari? And I fully agree with Bee Gee, there has been a tremendous amount of work gone into that car, the sort of care and attention that we spend on our own Zeds. As for the price, well to some it may seem over-priced, but when you add in all the effort and initial cost, it is probably quite reasonable.

views on my air filter
One thing though, nice to see you have your splash guard in there all secure. Thats one thing that a lot of people forget about, or just dismiss as un-nessecery (sp), untill they get their filter wet :smash:

Atten for VIJAY
As in this picture, ignor the writing on it, just take note of the 'Extra' lamp positions, that are not on our gauges, well not my series one anyway.
-
Atten for VIJAY
I think, but I could be wrong, that you have a US clock/dash set. The reason I say this is because of the extra lamp points on it, of which I'm sure I've seen on the US zed site before.

Im new - Help needed.
The ad specifically DOESN'T mention that it's a turbo, or an N/A, and with no rear spoiler it could just be an N/A. And yes I did spot the grills in the front bumper ;) Just a thought

300ZG 620ps best looking engine bay ive seen
I'll be honest, I think it's ucking fugly!!!! The lights and back end are just disgusting, and the front end isn't any better. And as for the colour, very limited market :hurl: Also the white interior in the picturs is not the same interior that is viewd from outside, which is pink and black. And as for the price,   it would have to be gold plated :D Whoever buys that is a total idiot (IMHO) You might have guessed, I don't like it ;)

I had to bite my lip
It was the 2.8, then ford re-worked it into the standard 2.9, slightly different but with little that is interchangeable between them. Then it was put through the Cosworth factory and came up with the 2.9 Cosworth engine. There was a later version, of the Cosworth 2.9 as well, but I'm not sure if this was any more powerfull though. Incidentley, the standard Ford Capri 2.8 injected engine produced 160 bhp, top speed was 130 mph, and 0 - 60 was only 7.8 seconds, so this shows that Cosworth didn't improve on the original much anyway ;)

Only joking Chris ;) and any others involved. It was very unfortunate what happened, but could of happened to anyone.

I've done this show now for the last four years, normally the sun comes out to play, and a good time is had by all. Hopefully this won't clash with shows on the continent, so members won't get lost on the way, and others won't try to start an international incident over it :x: :nelson: Hope to see loads of you guys, especially the midlands ones, there.
