Fancyplates work it all out for you, and I had mine done in the standard letter style. I'd say that the digits are about 3/4 size, but is in the correct proportions.

You are correct with the pattern, it is to aid cooling of the brakes. On a jap car the wheel size is the same front to back, so as long as you have the same wheel pattern on the same side, and they are as in my first pic (for the passenger side) then you are fine. The only difference come if you have different wheel width sizes, as the UK & Jap have 7.5J (7 1/2") on the front the Jap have 7.5J on the rear and the UK have 8.5J (8 1/2") on the rear. If that all makes sense to you.

Well it's been a long time since I saw my wheels from the inside, but I'm sure that the wheel size is stamped on the inner rime somewhere, but like I say, it's been a long time. As for the picture, observe the wheel pattern, then notice my rear wheel in this picture and you'll see what I mean. They are directional, so you must have them on the right way round.

First mine is also a Jap, so I wasn't sure regarding the UK rear code. As for what you have, well you have 3 Left and 1 Right!! It should say the wheel width on there somewhere as well so you can make sure you have the correct size wheels. 7.5J is what you should have all round, and 225's are the correct size for them. As in the picture I posted, that is what the passengers side should look like with the drivers being the opposite of it. And yes, right as in the drivers side.

The L & R stand for Left and Right, at a guess the 05 could be the UK rear spec (ie: wider than the other ones) They should look like this... HTH
