  1. Just nip into your local electrical wholeseller, they can supply diffusers from stock normally, mine cost me £14. HTH
  2. Have a look at http://www.aus300zx.com/tech/taillight/taillight.htm HTH Dave
  3. Sub Fan Relay = Radiator Sub Fan (Turbo Model), according to the book ;) Shift Lock Fuse = No idea :D except for somthing to do with the autobox :comfused: Sorry can't be anymore help
  4. Basically, NO! Currently there is only one bulb per side, not two, also with this the light then passes through both top and bottom lenses, so there is no separation. But if you were to 'Mod' the enclosure in a way to blank off the top and bottom and then mount a bulb holder then it could be done :D HTH
  5. Just been playing :D, heres my current new one...
  6. Here you go guys, a HOAX!!! http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/olympic.torch.hoax.html
  7. Start : 1981 End : 1987 146 episodes of 45 min First broadcasting : 15 January 1981 Creator(s) : Michael Kozoll & Steven Bochco Producer(s) : Michael Kozoll, Steven Bochco, Jeffrey Lewis & David Milch Music : Mike Post I used to watch it every week, it was the first of it's kind, with the 'Camera everywhere' type filming, as used later on shows like NYPD Blues, ER etc It was gritty, and in-your-face, and it wasn't scared to show topics that hadn't been shown before. Sergent Phil Esterhaus, was played by Michael Conrad, who was replaced by Sergent Lucy Bates, played by Betty Thomas, in, as you say, 1983.
  8. Thanks for posting my old Docs up :) all that work took ages to compile. Legally, and in short, PaulC is very much correct. All the legal requirements are linked from the documents straight to the goverment web site. As for those that put them on for the MOT, and then take them off again, what happeneds if, while you're driving, you suddenley come across a thick patch of fog? You'd soon be on here moaning when someone smacks you up the rear end (if you survive!!) Also it's still a legal requirement to have a working fog lamp all year round! If you get pulled, you'll get a fine (not sure about points though) As for the high level third brake lamp mod, it's perfectly legal, but only if permanatly converted, the switchable version may fall foul of the legal requirements ;) HTH Dave
  9. Well done bud :D :duffer: :duffer:
  10. Now that's interesting, that's exactly what mine did when I first got it! This isn't going to be very helpfull though, I'm not sure what I did to rectify it, apart from fitting a new battery, as I totally flatened it in the end, it seemed to work better then, but the weather was getting better by then as well. That was two years ago, never had the same problem since, even now while the car is off the road and I only start her up every couple of weeks, no problem at all :D It's worth a shot with a new battery, you never realise what differance a new battery can make. Good luck with whatever discission you make regarding your rear lights :) 99's would look very good, but then I do like Lukes 6 pod LED conversion.
  11. Arrrrrrrrrrrrr! That'll be where I've seen it before then :D
  12. Exactly the same that happened to me, five times, so I gave up :D Thats in Japan, I've seen it before, but can't remember where

  17. Very good advice guys, as Dave said, take your time!! It's not a two minute job, and should not be treated as one, I know, I've done two sets now and am about to do a third :D (NO I DON'T do them to order ;) ) But, as with everything else on your Zed, have fun :D Dave
  18. They look good mate ;) You should find that they are dimable as well! (Contray to what anyone may think) My new series 2 air-con pod should be turning up tomorrow/Thursday so looks like I'll be busy again :D ;)
  19. I'll start from the begining.... ;) A few weeks ago I was in B&Q, and spotted that they were getting rid of some wireless PC components (old stock, not selling). Now they were selling them at reasonable prices, like £25 for the router and £12 for a card. So I bought a PC card and the router (didn't buy the laptop card at the time :headvswal ) The idea being that I'd hard-wire the main PC and then put the card into the second PC, but this hasnt happened yet as the (proposed) media centre isnt going ahead at the moment. So I've just been running the old PC with a cable, which works fine. Anyway last week I bought a laptop, ready for my ConZult, so I went back to B&Q to see if they had any of the laptop wireless cards left, well they didn't :headvswal So I took a look on e-bay and came across an 'Untested' card of the same type and make as that I already had. I won the auction for a mear £3.94 (Inc P&P) it turned up today and I've spent most of the rest of the day trying to set it up. After hours of :headvswal I'm now sat in my lounge watching the TV and sending this post, totally wireless :D I also bought a Orange 3G sim card for my mobile, so that when I'm out and about in the Zed with the laptop, and want to check somthing on here, I can do that as well. The draw-back to that is that my mobile isnt 3g, but I should be able to obtain a better internet connection. Saying that I'm still able to obtain 115kbps with my normal sim card, which the guy at Orange was quite surprised at. So I'm fully mobile now, just need two things, one of Dannys ConZult packages and my zed back on the road :D (Sorry for the essay)
  20. Good news bud, glad your sorted :)
  21. Looking beautiful as usual mate :D  Would you like the full size originals of the ones I took at Newark last week? They are the un-molested, full size ones (2.1 Mb each, 3488 x 2616) so are full quality, wereas ther ones you've got have been edited and re-sized (164Kb, 900 x 675)
