My Zed in the snow
Toyo Proxies T1's are what I'm running, although they are a Summer tyre, they do a decent job! I'd gone down to Karens on Christmas day, and it was a nice day, but it had just started snowing that morning, and I HAD to go back home, so no choice in driving in that weather. I defo DON'T recommend driving your Zed in the snow (if you have a choice), but this was to be my last drive in her, and I couldn't resist :D (well last drive untill she's back on the road in March)

My Zed in the snow
Just got this pick from Karen, I was just driving home on 28th December '05. As you can see there is a light covering of snow, but it got a hell of a lot worse by the time I got home. This was the same day that I tested my ABS ;) well it worked, the car didn't stop, but the ABS worked anyway  Anyone got any of theirs in the snow?

My last day at work today
Cheers guys :) Oh yes the Zed is haveing something spent on it, like getting it back on the road for one ;) As for the job, I'm still waiting for Carrilion Rail to sort things out, and should have this job within the next few weeks. The down side to that is that I won't be able to be on-line anywhere near as much as I have done in the past :( And I could even be working away for periods at a time, which means that I wont have any internet access  But I won't let it get in the way of enjoying the Zed and being at the shows

rear lights
Yep as above, except that the illuminated section was only available as an option in GREEN!! They never gave the red option even though it was red in standard trim, strange! MAC's 99 spec rear end.... And my illuminated 99 sepec rear, that I did :D.........

think i've made a boo boo
Totally agree, but I would have warmed the panel up with a hairdryer first (Obviously something that boldy wouldn't have thought of ;) :x: whooppssss!!! Only joking mate :D ) As long as it's got the OEM baking on it, then it should last for a long time.

My last day at work today
Well it's finally arrived, my last day! I've been here for almost five years now (started in march 2001) and prior to that I was the Site Manager for the construction stage of this project. I'm proud to say that I saw, and had at least something to do with, the testing of all 53 of Virgin Trains Pendolino class trainsets. I saw the very first one in, and took the last one out. I was in-charge of the very first train to tilt here, and also of the last of the original fleet while it was being commisioned. I'm not sad to be leaving, as I've never worked for such a crap company in my life!! The only problem with it is that I still don't have a peice of paper saying that I actually have a new job!! So it looks like I'll be gardening for a short while. ;)

Looks like you get a decent turnout as well :) Nice of you to open it up to all clubs as well. Just a shame my Zed still wont be back on the road by then otherwise I'd have come up. Hopefully some of our other local guys might attend this. But, please, keep us informed of the next one, I'll also keep an eye open on skylineowners.com (as I'm a member ;) )

Photos in 'For Sale' Adverts
It has to be said, and I'm not sugesting any particular person here, that members who are advertising items in the For Sale section, were to post (or have available) decent quality photos of the item they are trying to sell, then there would be no chances of any miss-understandings as to condition and/or type. How many times do you see a post of somthing, even in the Q & A section, where the picture that has been posted has been taken a camera-phone, which, lets be fair, are normally crap!! Either that or the photographer has Parkinsons (not that I'm having a go at anyone who might have Parkinsons). A decent quality Digi-Cam doesn't cost a fortune these days, someone can even buy my old Fuji A202 for £45 if they want it ;) , and you can always use it for 'other' things ;) PS - I don't think it would be appropriot for any individual to reply to this whom might be currently involved it any dissputed sales.
