  1. I wrote this a while ago, but as far as I'm aware it is still fully correct :) http://www.z32.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/300zx/signature.htm This and other forum related FAQ's are in the FAQ section. HTH
  2. Don't forget the WD40, very good for getting the 'Black Gunk' off everything.
  3. Yep, hot air gun (paint stripper) but be very carfull, keep it on the first setting, DON'T be tempted to use the high setting ;)
  4. Toyo Proxies T1's are what I'm running, although they are a Summer tyre, they do a decent job! I'd gone down to Karens on Christmas day, and it was a nice day, but it had just started snowing that morning, and I HAD to go back home, so no choice in driving in that weather. I defo DON'T recommend driving your Zed in the snow (if you have a choice), but this was to be my last drive in her, and I couldn't resist :D (well last drive untill she's back on the road in March)
  5. Just got this pick from Karen, I was just driving home on 28th December '05. As you can see there is a light covering of snow, but it got a hell of a lot worse by the time I got home. This was the same day that I tested my ABS ;) well it worked, the car didn't stop, but the ABS worked anyway  Anyone got any of theirs in the snow?
  6. Well have fun with it tomorrow :D I don't think there'll be any problems with that one, it's just a normal carriage :D Nice to have finnaly met you last week :D
  7. Cheers guys :) Oh yes the Zed is haveing something spent on it, like getting it back on the road for one ;) As for the job, I'm still waiting for Carrilion Rail to sort things out, and should have this job within the next few weeks. The down side to that is that I won't be able to be on-line anywhere near as much as I have done in the past :( And I could even be working away for periods at a time, which means that I wont have any internet access  But I won't let it get in the way of enjoying the Zed and being at the shows
  8. Very happy for you Daz mate, hope to see the both of you in a couple of weeks :D
  9. Yep as above, except that the illuminated section was only available as an option in GREEN!! They never gave the red option even though it was red in standard trim, strange! MAC's 99 spec rear end.... And my illuminated 99 sepec rear, that I did :D.........
  10. Totally agree, but I would have warmed the panel up with a hairdryer first (Obviously something that boldy wouldn't have thought of ;) :x: whooppssss!!! Only joking mate :D ) As long as it's got the OEM baking on it, then it should last for a long time.
  11. Yeah, sorry to hear about this bud, I can't offer any advice, but I can offer moral support :D All the best Dave
  12. Well as from today, I earn F**k All!!!!!
  13. Well it's finally arrived, my last day! I've been here for almost five years now (started in march 2001) and prior to that I was the Site Manager for the construction stage of this project. I'm proud to say that I saw, and had at least something to do with, the testing of all 53 of Virgin Trains Pendolino class trainsets. I saw the very first one in, and took the last one out. I was in-charge of the very first train to tilt here, and also of the last of the original fleet while it was being commisioned. I'm not sad to be leaving, as I've never worked for such a crap company in my life!! The only problem with it is that I still don't have a peice of paper saying that I actually have a new job!! So it looks like I'll be gardening for a short while. ;)
  14. I might be able to pop up to this one :D But I wont be in the Zed
  15. I thought John left here for the ZClub?
  16. "A trick of the light Govner, honest!" ;)
  17. Theres nothing better than slating a good advert, and thats NOTHING like a good advert
  18. I just cliked on his website, and realised I've delt with this guy before!! DON'T FOOKING BOTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rip-off merchant!
  19. Shame the guy can't type in English properly ;) I'm sure this one was up for sale the other week, by the same bloke. 55k? It's possible ;) It's got a Navan gear knob, other than that nothing special at all and over priced (imho)
  20. Looks like you get a decent turnout as well :) Nice of you to open it up to all clubs as well. Just a shame my Zed still wont be back on the road by then otherwise I'd have come up. Hopefully some of our other local guys might attend this. But, please, keep us informed of the next one, I'll also keep an eye open on skylineowners.com (as I'm a member ;) )
  21. I try to take care of everything I own :D
  22. Full Spec Here About three years old, full working order. Complete with USB cable, CD Rom, Batteries, 2 x 16Mb xD Picture cards and the full owners manual on CD (as I lost the original) with a soft case and the original box. All delivered for £45 :D EDIT****** Available in the FOR SALE section :D
  23. I was thinking a hell of a lot older actually :D Belated Happy Birthday bud :duffer: :duffer: :duffer:
  24. It has to be said, and I'm not sugesting any particular person here, that members who are advertising items in the For Sale section, were to post (or have available) decent quality photos of the item they are trying to sell, then there would be no chances of any miss-understandings as to condition and/or type. How many times do you see a post of somthing, even in the Q & A section, where the picture that has been posted has been taken a camera-phone, which, lets be fair, are normally crap!! Either that or the photographer has Parkinsons (not that I'm having a go at anyone who might have Parkinsons). A decent quality Digi-Cam doesn't cost a fortune these days, someone can even buy my old Fuji A202 for £45 if they want it ;) , and you can always use it for 'other' things ;) PS - I don't think it would be appropriot for any individual to reply to this whom might be currently involved it any dissputed sales.
