  1. That first one with the push bike, well I was in Leicester city centre the other day with Karen, and just outside Clinton Cards (across the road) there was one of those signs that shop keepers put out on the path, well they put a chain round it and round the exact same type of post as in that pic, in exactly the same way    They probably do it every day as well ;)
  2. A while??? It was only released at the cinema on 2nd December! Although saying that my copy is a bloody good one ;)
  3. Watched this film the other night, very good indeed. This is the live action version of the mid 90's animated shorts that were on MTV. This one stars Charlize Theron as the all action hero, bounding about like there is no tomorrow, well for some in the film there isnt!! ;) Anyway find all the info you want to on the official web site at http://www.aeonflux.com
  4. Yep, not bad at all, also not seen that one before.
  5.    :mac1:
  6. Don't those that have Black Zeds already have a small animal running inside the wheel rims? :x:
  7. Speechless mate! You are a fookin trooper!
  8. Oooooooooooooooo they look classy ;)
  9. It's called Flash Chrome, available from http://www.lap-tab.co.uk/alloywheels.php
  10. Right, there is NO polishing required on this finish, it is puerly a sprayed application and a full prep beforehand and full finishing afterwards. For our 16" alloys they quoted me only £45 + VAT per wheel. They offer a 1 day service as well, where you take your car to them, leave it there for the day, come back later and it's all done. Wheels off, tyres off, wheels done, tyres back on and wheels back on your car, all for an additional £15 + VAT per wheel! Now that I consider to be very good indeed.
  11. Morning all :D Just been onto a alloy wheel refurbisher, and although I wanted my OEM alloys polishing up (@£95 + VAT EACH!!) I've come across this, (no not the alloys, the finish) and was wondering if this finish would look good on our OEM alloys? What do you think people?
  12. That's a bit drastic  where is it connecting at the upper parts?
  13. Now they are nice (IMHO) as I was asking about these the other week. But it would depend on price ddvharrison @ aol.com ;) (without spaces) upto the 17th Jan, then it's ddvharrison @ 300zx.eclipse.co.uk (without the spaces) after the 17th Jan
  14.  Well done, spot on :D
  15. Very sorry to hear that bud, hope it gets better soon mate. If I lived closer to you I'd help you out, I'm sure you'll have a few offers from here though. All the best mate.
  16. Ah! Come on, my dad had some pride ;)  Clue 1) It's Japanese As a matter of interest, I think my dad was following me with his cars. Before I got my Honda he had a Ford Cortina MKiii, then he got this Jap car. When i changed to my Capri, he got a Capri, later I got another Capri, and he got another Capri. later on I got a Rover, and he got.... You guessed it, he got a Rover as well :D bloody copy-cat, but I'd have loved to have seen him get a Zed :D but he's given up driving now.
  17. Nope, nothing so special.
  18. Oooooooooooooooooo the're nice  But I think they'd only look right on certain coloured cars.
  19. OK, here goes another couple of old pics, firstly of my first Capri, it's a 1.6 L, and had only one previous owner when i brought it. And now my first ever car, a 1977 Honda Civic 1.2, this picture was taken just after I'd got home following the (almost) fatal dimise of said car  But me and mi dad re-built her, and I kept her for a while after that as well. QUESTION TIME** There is a red bonnet in the lower lefthand corner, who can identify this car?
  20. Seven pages of the on-board self diagnosis HERE which should cover the earlier vehicles. HTH
  21. The lowest setting is 10, but it then jumps to 15, then up in 1 deg stages from there.
  22. ... and your hand brake requires adjustment!!
  23. I'm still using AOL untill the 17th (although I wanted to get rid of it this week) but I doubt I'll be able to get rid of all of it, as it's in with the bundle that comes on the master boot disc, and there is no option to get rid/disable it at the boot stage  But I'll get rid of as much as i can :D
  24. After a few months of not being entierly happy with them I've decided to ditch AOL for good. I'm going over to Eclipse, and using their Flex system. Biggest problem now is changing all my accounts and stuff that has my AOL addy as a point of contact  I get 20Mb of free web space, my site will be http://www.300zx.eclipse.co.uk, all I've got to do is find out how to design the page (I've got Microsoft Front Page) so that then I can upload it with SmartFTP  as I haven't got a clue at the moment
