99 Spec Rear Spoiler Fitting....
As above, whos fitted one? How easy was it, and was it easy to get at the fixing points? I'm ordering one from Chris, in about four weeks time, and was just wondering if I'm going to have any big problems. Also would you recommend having it sprayed on the car of off? TIA Dave

For those wishing to smooth your rear.....
Theres nothing wrong with dragging up a good ol' post :D Thanks Sinclair, but the look is about to change a bit, as it's having a 99 spec spoiler attached to it in March  which should go very nicely with the 99 spec lights and front end as well :D And the front lights are being changed as well, but I'm not telling on that yet ;)

Photo manipulation
Apache, had this one a while now, a very good free prog. But as I use Photoshop I find the main thing I use Picasa for is to get rid of red-eye! It's so simple, open picture, click Red-Eye, use mouse to put a box around the iris (red part of eye ;) ) and click you're done :D I know it's very good for other stuff aswell ;) By the way, anyone who is thinking of opening it, it's by Google, and you'll be asked if you DON'T want to have Google Toolbar, so whatch out for that, bloody Toolbars

NZR - Epson Printer
pk1, that sounds very good indeed :) once I've run out of this lot I've just bourght, I'll give you a shout, if that's OK? :D But judging by the small amount I've already used it may be a while yet ;) Well I'd certainly recommend it, the print quality is excellent, and I'm not even using the top setting for my photo paper. And the printer itself isn't all that obtrusive either, nice and compact. HTH

NZR - Epson Printer
Just been out and bought myself a new Epson Stylus Photo R220 printer today, for the following reasons..... I own a Lexmark X1180 All-In-One printer, which is OK'ish but I've not been entirly satisfied with it for a while now. At the week end I replaced the colour cartridge with a medium yeild one (£17.99)...... I managed to produce 10 (TEN) CD labels and 12(TWELVE) photo quality DVD jackets before the colour ran out!!! Which is bloody disgusting in my books. Well someone at work had said that they had the Epson R200 printer and they could get the ink cheap and the quality was really good and the ink lasted a long time. So today, with just useing the ink that came with it, I've managed to print 20 CD labels and 26 photo quality DVD jackets and I'm not even half way through the ink yet!!! I'm well impressed with this little printer. Also was at a computer fair yesterday and picked up three full sets of ink (there is 6 cartridges in a set) for only £21.00! Beats the £45.00 per single set of the genuine Epson ones.

DVD Recorder
The thing that gets me is that I hardly ever use it. Ok so I've used it this week, for backing up of old videos ;), and thats what I was doing tonight. Towards the end of the recording, the picture went a little 'strange'. It wasn't pixelated, or fuzzy, it was like a bad internet download. I thought it was the old tape, but after I'd switched it off, the picture from the BBC 1 was just as bad  I'll be nipping it back tomorrow anyway, and might go for the LiteOn version, as they have a decent reputation, only another £20

DVD Recorder
Some of you may remember a thread I started last May regarding a DVD recorder I purchased from my local ASDA This thread Well that was the CyberHome CH-DVR 750, it lasted about 6 months :( It was then replaced with the CyberHome DVR 1600 (as they'd stopped supplying the other one) which lasted about 3 months, which was replaced by another DVR 1600. Which lasted to two weeks ago :headvswal :headvswal So I took it back and got my money back from ASDA I still wanted one, and still didn't want to spend too much as I am still keeping my Sony DVD player (untill I build my Media Centre PC anyway) So I had a look through the Argos book and came across the Goodmans GDVD303RW, decided it was cheap enough at only £99.99, so picked one up. That was last weekend :) Guess what just happened about an hour ago???? :D Yep, it's f**ked now as well!!!! :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal I just don't ****ing beleive it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isnt 1.3Mb and 1300Kb the same thing? ;) And this site will only take 500Kb as an attachment, or did you mean into your Rides section?

ATT: Mac
I'm not sure, just saw this thread and thought it might work, but, as I said, just don't want it sticking out all the time. I'll have to have a look behind the bumper. As I'm having the bumper touched up, I wouldn't want to have it damaged again if it needed to go on the back of another tow truck. :D

ATT: Mac
Iain, if I fitted the bracket, of the type you have, to the car permanatley, would it be an easy on-the-spot job to fit the tow-eye as and when needed? If you see what I mean. I ask this because when I had the problems with mine last year, there was damage done to the underside of my newly painted bumper (which will have to be sorted again). Just didn't want this sticking out of my front bumper all the time.
