  2. ive just had the above problem - axa didnt put down that it was an import. They tried to get out of paying for it but then realised that they didnt make a N/A UK model and so landed themselves with a problem ! They have given me free 3 months insurance and appologised mentally.

  7. Anyone know roughly how much it is for a new front bumper + fog lights from Nissan GB ? For a 92 Jap spec ! Just a rough estimate would be nice - :o Thanks for any help - Mike
  8. mee too but its bent lol So i made another one up that looks kak !
  9. Could be buckled rims ! If your rims are second hand, or if youve kirbed one on a roundabout etc - take them to a tire fitter and get them to check the concentricity of the rim ! Its an outside guess
  10. Whilst on holidays saturday, i saw a Red Zed in Redruth - reg OIL something v.nice And a silver Zed today parked up in Hayle (Cornwall) - also v.nice
  11. Anyone know about the loophole that has now been closed for post 97 Jap import cars ? All i know is Supra TT and GTR Skylines (amongst others) will not pass the mot or SVA any longer - is this correct ? If so what about other cars - specifically TT or N/A ZX's etc? I mean, if i want to import a car (say a 200sx) thats post 97 - will i get away with it, or not? Im hearing lots of rumours about taking the cars back to standard for the SVA etc

  16. i do know a couple of importers - that will get you a sweet bespoke one for that sort of cash
  17. Do you specifically want to import one ? Because theres usually a few for sale on here - and you can check the history by running a search on the owners name !
  18. You wont regret it mate !
  19. haha - i knew it was you ! The " i've had an import MR2 turbo for the last 2 years, so i know the problems you can have getting parts etc!" gave it away ! Glad your coming over to the dark side mate
  20. Hi ya bird !! Nice to see you

It would have been 150 quid (i think - may be slightly more) if i hadnt traded my old ECU for it ! To be honest there aint much point in keeping your old one (in my opinion anyway). Yea Super Air Flow Controller - lovely bit of kit ! - Looks amazing and when you fiddle with it stuff hapens - which is nice haha

It depends - i brought a Devin ECU box off andyZ and swapped it for my standard and a few quid ! Apparently socketing ecu's aint that easy ! Incidentally, mines an N/A, decat, blitz induction, apexi exhausts and ive got an apexi SAFC, and Devin chip - i dont know what the BHP is as my clutch wasnt good enough for the rollers on sunday at Interpro - but ive taken a few standard TT's out for a spin recently (that were for sale in a garage), and my mate has taken mine out with me to compare, and im eating twin turbo's off the line up to about 80 (a good two car lengths infront), so it must be pretty good - BHP wise ! Im destroying the local GTO TT's as well ! - which for an N/A is v.good
  25. I take it its a dedicated live wire to the amp and not spliced into anythin else ? When i got my car the amp was wired into the bloody cig lighter - and the amp kept cutting out due to not enough power If it is a dedicated line it sounds as though earthing is the problem !
