In basic terms : It measures the amount of air going into the car, and ratio's the amount of fuel to whatever it reads!! Not sure but i dont think the car will go v.well - if at all - without one! It wont know how much fuel to put in, therefore over/under fuel all the time !! Think thats what it does anyway !
