  1. Sounds good, should be OK for the 12th.
  2. Here you go mate, this may help http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnetfaq/FAQpages/fender.html
  3. Can you please expand a bit. The reason I ask is because a passing neighbour suggested that by loosening the nut, I could turn the allen clockwise to increase damping force. Is this right or a load of c**p, particularly as Koni's website indicates off vehicle adjustment? The red marker appears to be some paint. I didn't put it on and appears too messy to be from the factory. Nonetheless, someones marked it for some reason I guess, as it's in the same position on both rear shocks. Cheers
  4. Hi All Can someone please give me some guidence on what this allen key adjustment is for? I have Koni Sport rear shocks and thought these were only adjustable off the vehicle. Thanks Shahid

Hey welcome! Nice car and as for the colour......we all know silver is the lightest and fastest :D
  6. Yep, fun day and great turnout. Looked around the other stands and none of them appeared to have the level of representation that we did. Infact I met up with a friend who owns a Pooprah and he was a little embarrassed at the lack of cars on their stand
  7. Thanks James. Looked at the coilpack/injector connectors for condition/contact and they appear fine. Guess if they were a little suspect it would have an adverse effect on general running/idle. But I haven'e got these symptoms. I replaced the temp sensor a few months ago, together with the engine wiring loom last year. So I guess we can rule that out too. You're spot on about the connectors - replacing the loom made hell of a difference. Any other ideas?
  8. Noticed a very slight, but regular popping noise from the tail of the passenger side exhaust at idle (hot and cold). It's more evident when placing a hand over the exit pipe. The driver's side is fine, with a steady gas flow. Idle is smooth and car runs fine. It's an HKS exhaust, cats removed. Any ideas? Cheers Shahid

Sorry for the delay guys, but here's some pics from last weeks meet. Updated my rides, so I thought I'd upload these too. Shahid
  10. Yep, I'll be going up Sat too. Shahid
  11. Cheers Steve, will do. Definately wasn't referring to you mate :D Shahid
  12. LOL    OK chaps, thanks for all the help so far. Will give it a go when I get home. However, if I'm still up in to the early hours, like last night, trying to resolve it, I think I may have to resort to Mac's suggestion
  13. Cheers Chris, tried that but no luck.
  14. When I try and connect to the internet with my laptop, I get Error Message: The page cannot be displayed. Seems to have occurred after I removed some pop-up software. Laptop is connected to a cable modem/desktop via a Netgear wi-fi router. The Netgear icons show a good internet connection but no pages are being displayed in the IE browser. Microsoft's website suggests a solution involving modifying the registry  , which TBH, is a little daunting with my limited IT knowledge. Before being ripped off by my local repair shop, is there anything I can try to resolve the problem. Running XP with IE version 6. Cheers Shahid

LOL. Steve, the kids in the restaurant must have been traumatised listening to that “close shave” you had with the poor, little, helpless bunny! Shame about the weather but the food and company more than made up for it. Nice to see some good cars and put names to faces. Sorry to hear about mishap Dave. Hope things get sorted quickly for you. Shahid
  16. I've been looking for uprated coolers too that can be attached to the stock mounts, without any modification to the surrounding area . Only interested in increased efficiency rather than looks or brands. TBH, consider the big brands to be overpriced and would be interested to learn of anyone who can fabricate a custom jobbie at a more realistic price. Wanna share some details Mark? Shahid
  17. Well done guys. Got to admire anyone who has the guts and knowhow to tackle such a job. Shahid
  18. May wanna consider replacing the engine wiring loom. All those connectors get brittle and shagged from heat and age.
  19. Got no complaints on the discs or pads. Way better stopping and feel than standard IMHO. Discs are a direct replacement, no mods required. Do a search on here and I'm pretty sure you'll find that 3G use Brembo blank casts. I'm still using the factory callipers with this setup and get no squeeling under any braking condition. Stu/Tony - Out of interest, are you guys using the fast road version or the higher compound grade racing version pads? I read somewhere that squeeling was an inherent problem with the latter.
  20. :D
  21. OK mate, I'll be interested to learn from your experience. What's the ETA from Pete and out of interest, what's the actual price of the unit?
  22. £303 for the front & rear disc directly from 3G and £140 for the 4 pads from Whifbitz. Mind you, these prices are over a year old, so things may have changed. Went for the 10 groove discs and R4S pads. Guess there's no problem in just changing the fronts but I'm sure someone on here who's done the same can offer some guidance. Shahid
  23. So who's gonna be doing it?
