I have been trying to buy a plate for a while now and the guy has finally got another one to replace it but how do you go about it? i presume theres paperwork he signs and i send it off like a V5 doc but does he send that to me and i then pay him or do i pay him first or are you meant to meet up and do the deed LOL Just never done it so someone here must have :) Cheers Mike

a wheel refurber put the wheel on a machine which spins the wheel so i doubt it mate but hey you never know LOL

i think he fell lucky with them wheels as nemesis were shutting down and got them cheaper :) right place at the right time ;)

hks do a knock meter and sensor, its not cheap but its very good

no worries mate, i was a little gutted it was an na, would have been nice to have had a proper strosek for a few days ;) but not to worry

have you had in on a consult? may throw up a reason, could very much be the AFM, also could be wiring, have you pulled off the plugs from each coilpack while its running and listen for it dying a little and plugging it back in and repeating over all 6? is it over heating or are you getting any water in the oil and vs versa? you can also do a leak down test to see if its losing pressure through the head gasket?

just got some more info on it and unfortunatly its an auto and an NA just crunched the numbers and its gonna be more like £7k poss slightly cheaper if taken "as is" registered etc but i am guessing that it being an na will put you off?? theres a nice convertible running on 20's with lambo doors :p ps added interior pic, does look in great condition

tbh it does look mint and its only done about 33,000 miles from new so i would expect it to be solid. anyway let me know if your interested bud Mike

yeh they should do and if the bolts are too short its an easy thing to go out and buy from any place that does nuts and bolts etc

yeh but 380mm discs physically wont fit under anything less than 19's trust me i struggled and in fact i had to change rims to fit 355mm under 18's how much are you talking to buy, manufacturer brackets, buy discs etc? i cant imagine the new range rover brembos to be cheap? anyway i'm at my mates tomorrow and he has the new range rover sport so i will have a look ;)

well just macs, mine just wanted to watch but she fancies a go next time we go up there ;)

problem with that is you need a 19" rim to fit over with a missive clearance and to fit round a 380mm disc you would need the enzo 8 pot caliper which brembo do, any caliper smaller and your just wasting disc. IMHO 355mm is more than enough and even the 324mm brembos are good enough to stop the zed ;)
