as danny says, its dangerious to get the coolant pipes in silicon as they get hot and flexible and can cave in, same with the total silicon top pipes, i remember shimpo showing me his samco pipes and they used to get very flexible and shut which isnt what you want when there feeding the air into your car!! TBH the rest of the stuff looks fine, as long as the hardpipe kit has the right bends in them then you cant go wrong really and the price is superb, i have the hks kit to put on my car but i only bought it as it was fairly cheap second hand but the silicon is shite on the hks and the quality is not very good :( i think you can get some good stuff from the usa and ebay but you need to choose carefully what you buy ;)

us and mainland europe are the only place on earth which dont already have them :rolleyes: so i got one from hongkong as they have them same voltage etc its very good, well built and actually has everything the ps2 should have had ie hdd, wireless etc the controllers are superb and the internet connection is again very good, you can go online and buy games direct and download them to the hdd :) Mike

forgot to say, a big issue with the mx5 is the boot, for some reason it tends to collect water and rusts just inside the boot so if you look at one just pop the boot and look at the edge, my wifes was just starting to go so we have just had it done Mike

My wifes may be up for sale soon and its a cracker, there pretty much as reliable as your gonna get for a car :) my wife loves hers but we have some money spare after the house move so i have told her she can get something a bit newer so she fancies a mini cooper convertible now ;) Cant really go wrong with one tbh Mike

you would be better with the AEM wideband guage as they also do it with a dual sensors for the V6 if your interested let me know as theres a GB on the supra forun and there pretty cheap, think there around £150 :)

Yep you are correct, RB26's in standard form are good for 4-500 bhp, with a metal head gasket then slightly more but the pistons are only good for around 600 bhp. The downside is just to buy an engine your talking the best part of 3-4k in fact your better off buying a cheap R32 gtr and use it to transplant. Its not a bad idea, yes they are much more tuneable and you can get them to 7-800 bhp fairly easy. They also suffer from oil starvation so most fit a larger sump. The RB25 gearbox is near identical to the z32 box but tbh you would be better to convert a gtr box to fit the z32, all you would need to do is plate up the front transferbox and have a custom prop made up and this then lends you to having a sequencial box fitted ;) As was said the supra engine is just as easy to fit as well and tbh if its bhp per pound this is the way to go, the bottom ends are good for 6-700+ bhp and you can get 500++ bhp for as little as £2k from a supra engine :eek: Mike
