Its deffo going to be an interesting day. Since having her beat an aston martin vantage on the m6. and totally destroyed a brand new M3 again on the m6. Apart from that i dont tend to race it unless its against something worth getting beat by. I would sell it if i got beat by a modded rs turbo or something :dance: Kirbz

Its deffo a love hate thing. Messing with my boost controller today to increase the boost and no joy, i can get her to 17/18 psi and peaking at 19 when it was colder but not above that...i know its a lot anyway but if you want more power you gotta have more boost!!! Even at the boost controllers full settings it stays at 17/19 psi?? BUT here we go...just did a ecu check and guess what code came up?? You guested it code 34...b*****d Is this why i cant boost any higher? Would i be able to boost that high while the ecu puts me in safety boost? I am in the process of resetting my ecu to see if that will sort it. Cheers Kirbz (looks like some of my mods might have to wait:cry: until i get this sorted)

You are in luck!! Ive just had my power id fitted and have been playing with the settings for a while!! You do connect the orange wire to the ecu speed sensor, its number 53 on the ecu and its a green and yellow cable, once you do this you have to input you car weight, i got mine weighed and it was 1800 kg (ive got a bit of ICE so allow for this) The power loss is a funny one, i was told to set it to -15 but i spoke to racelogic and they say that you leave it at 0 as the power id takes into concideration your weight etc and the power loss adjustment is only to tweek it!! so id leave it at 0. Then select the speed calibration get a mate to hover over the enter button and drive at 25mph onece you are there hit the enter key and you done it. To double check youve calibrated it right select the speed setting and test it by going 20 30 40 and see if thee readout is right, you might have to re do it as i did until your readout matches your speedo. Once you are happy give her a blast and find out what she's got :D If you have any problems please ask and i will try to answer, i'm not technical but am learing fast:dance: Cheers kirbz

Hi Rich I have just replaced mine so i do have a spare thats in good condition. It has a few little marks on it but i will have a look at them tomorrow to make sure there ok. I dont know how much there worth?? They are fairly straight forward to fit just a pain strip the boot down :D Oh and mines a UK car so you would need to make sure they will fit OK!! Cheers Kirbz

Hi Guys When i joined a couple of months ago i did offer to do any printing for free ie monthly letter, magazine etc I know some of the other forums do stuff like that and its nice to get something through the post to let you know whats going on and there are plenty of people here who could do pics and editorials. I have been on various forums and this if the most friendly and informative i've come across, in fact after i sold my black zed i test drove other cars but went back to a zed partly because i love em and because its a small (exclusive it tell everyone;) ) close net group of people. I havnt been around on the site that long but already i know a couple of people in the NW and i'm looking forward to the SE weekend to meet everyone else. Hi Rob I just paid about £14.50 per plug for the HKS ones The denso ones are about £10 each...but i didnt know this till after i bought them!! Pain to fit, you have to remove half the engine!! Kirbz

sad thing is i saw a golf rapped round a tree a couple of days ago on the m6 that looked as bad Looked nasty and the m6 was shut after that which only means one thing...RIP Strange thing life.

Hi Guys I dont know what the gap is meant to be The garage i bought them from said they are already set at the right gap!!! which i find strange as they surly could fit into any car. The garage is a very large nissan performance garange as well. So if you know what gap i should use please tell me as i'm fitting them tomorrow Cheers Kirbz

This is getting to be a habit :D When i bought the car it already had traction control fitted...great It is a racelogic one, even better, i have all the installation instructions and setup disc etc but i dont know what the settings on the traction are? I have spoken to racelogic and they say it cant be one of theirs because theirs only has 6 settings and had always looked like this now mine looks like this and it has 10 settings :confused: :confused: I know it works cos i had it on in the rain the other day and floored it and it sh*t me up when it cut out. So does anyone know what it is or is it just an older racelogic model?? Thanks Kirbz

I think both of the cars are very similar. I'd look at both cars and have a good drive in them. Check out the buying guide on here, theres lots of good info. If i had to choose from the 2 it would be the first one cos its got lower mileage but there both imports so you can never be sure on the mileage. Also have a look on the for sale forum on here there's a few for sale. If in doubt walk away and try and take someone who know what there talking about(not saying you dont;) ) depending on where it is try asking one of the members to have a look, i'm sure one will.
