This seems to be a talking point at the moment, everyone seems to have there own ideas to which turbos are the best so what are?? There is a reason why i ask because i need to find out what garrett turbos are the best for the zed ie for BHP. I'm not promising anything but i might have sorted a deal out with garretts themselves to buy turbos off them cheap but i need exact model numbers etc for the zed because a a t25 or 27 comes in about 15 different models so i need more details and hopefully i can save a few people some money and of course get myself some dirty great big tubs:rofl: Kirbz

Please dont mension MPG??? I'm getting serious hassle from work at the moment, they claim my vectra cannot do 16 MPG??? I say in my hands its very possible in fact if they want it lower i can do that :D I'm gonna have to bite the bullet soon though as they are threatening to sack me over it :eek: if i dont back down. Hi James I presume there fitted like any other side skirt, fitted then filled in to match the doors, the only problem with blending is the filler will crack eventually and have to be re-done. Saying that it does look very nice :D Kirbz

Hi Guys I think ive said it before, but i dont mind doing any printing, booklets or producing letters, forms etc,etc might need to cover some of the cost of paper but my time and the companies machines are free.. Cheers Kirbz

Hi It hasnt got a touch screen, i dont think alpine make a touch screen one, kenwood and pioneer do..i think. But saying that alpine are the best at head units, i have the 806 head unit with the built in cd player so its handy not to keep having to change the cd's in the changer. Mine has a slight fault of scrolling graphics on the screen(faulty chip in the brain) You can get the 1004 for about £600 now which is really cheap. Cheers Kirbz

Hi Nelson Yep the new head unit is in and working, i had it properly fitted about 3 weeks ago i then ripped it all out on saturday anyway and have re-installed it!!??:rolleyes: So could have saved myself £120...never mind Doesnt actually weigh that much, i used 12mm mdf to cut down on weight and the original sub was 12" and false floor was 18mm so its probebly about the same shouldnt cancel each other out, the ports do as much work as the subs, saying that if it does then its re-building time...sorry dad :D Just got to get my brother-in-law to carpet it at the weekend, then i will post finished pics and how i sounds. Mine has one :D well its a gear change warning and has both sound and l e d's The sound is a bit annoying and the leds light up more as you rev it more, i think it was a extra part of my racelogic clubman traction control. They mounted the l e d's in the air vent at the top so it shines on the windscreen Kirbz

Hi Bob The vega's need to be in a ported box. If it doesnt work i can always port them on the front of the box or side, the top was the easiest ;) No doubt i will find out when i connect it all up. Cheers Kirbz

Well half way there!! Taking longer than i thought:rolleyes: But the basics are in just need all the wires now...only!!! Should sound superb, these are about the best subs around and give the sound of 12's...i hope Havnt worked out where the targa's go yet:( Anyway heres what ive done so far Ohh and carpeting Have to wait till next weekend now Kirbz
