You do realise Iain that we are going to get slated for saying this but my car wasnt detting, well not that i could tell and i wasnt running anywhere near 600 bhp but still it broke :rolleyes: Which lead me onto the question again "if your spending £3-5k on new turbos and pulling the engine out why not spend a little more and upgrade the pistons etc Kirbz

Alex, That will deffo help the car weight, in fact once its all paid for its going now where cos i wont be able to afford the petrol :cry: Kirbz

from my understanding it might run a bit rough due to the fact it wont be allowing enough fuel to the bigger injectors, it also might cause you to actually have less power. It shouldnt be a problem to get it reprogrammed, i have been quoted about 2 hours labour at hyper sports to put a new map on the car using a o2 sensor. Kirbz

I have looked and cant find much info on them, are these all software based that can be used on a pda system?? and if so can they be purchased for £250??

Just talking to one of the GTO guys (bought my blitz stuff) and quite a few of them use a really nice system which we should be using!! Its a PDA system which interfaces directly with the ecu and a knock box and can display over 30 different parameters and it looks cool. I dont know if we have anything like this but i havnt heard of anything and best of all it only cost £250 including the sony pda which is peanuts for that kind of control of all your cars workings. So can any of our trader get hold of anything like this or why not use the club to go to the people who make this and get them to do something for us. http://www.pocketlogger.com/ Cheers Kirbz

with all this talk of the "fastest" zed on here and a few of us throwing money at our prides and joys to achieve magical bhp figures are they actually achievable?? I have been looking at some of the old posts about andy's car k4sh's and a few others some with an amazing amount of mods done to them some without. Some people have dyno reports to prove they were putting out mega bhp out, some dont. Some of the US cars claim to have 6-700+ rwhp?? On the other hand there are some people here with mega specs and can only put out fairly modest BHP figures which must be so frustrating (adamr) So my question is, is it actually possible if so what do you actually need to do it?? I'm only asking cos i dont know, i'm just buying what i think will take me there but will it??:rolleyes: I have spoken to several of the well known garages on here and some say no problem some say no chance :( Kirbz :confused:

I dont think its down to the yellow/red discs there are many different coloured discs. Might be nero though, try putting a new serial code in, when i changed mine to a 4x writer it didnt burn properly unitl i put a different serial number in now its fine :D Kirbz

dont know what the grinding is maybe clutch or gearbox but all i would say is when you do press the pedal on the right listed for detting, as it will destroy your engine!! Kirbz

well cc300zx 1.3 bar is more like 19 psi so be very careful because your running far too much for stock internals/injectors i would get it taken down if i was you, do you really want a rebuild...like me:cry: Kirbz

Alex, No i dont think so it will be about 8 weeks just to get the turbos and then once fitted ive got to run the car in so no but i might go anyway to have a look. Kirbz
