The Liverpool police are the sneakiest!! I was driving near the airport a few months ago and there was a ford galaxy broken down in the inside lane with its hazzards on, wasnt till i got along side of it i noticed that all the windows were blacked out and 2 coppers stood up and had cameras mounted into a roof box with two tiny windows to see out of. Very dodgy, you couldnt tell it was police until you were passing it. Its a shame they dont put as much effort into catching rapists, muggers etc rather than go after us all the time :rolleyes: Kirbz

I'm having a new boost controller fitted next weekend so if anyone wants this old boost controller you are welcome to have it. Its quite old but works very well. I would have put it in for sale section but i dont think its worth that much so who ever wants it they can buy me a beer :) Cheers Kirbz

Hello people, Ive just had my alpine screen fitted to day and the screen rolls down :rolleyes: Anyone know what this might be. It was fitted profesionally but it did do it in my mates car after a hands free kit was fitted, before that if was fine. We just presumed it was the hands free wiring or something, but it sounds like there might be a problem. Any ideas??? Thanks Kirbz

Hi Stu The unit is fine, in fact i'm going 0 mph at the moment :D Its the in car power lead!! They said they would send me a new one over night and what a suprise it hasnt come :rolleyes: I'll just have to drive carefully to trax on sunday unless it comes tomorrow or saturday. Kirbz

Just bought a nice GPS radar detector, installed it all and f**k me the power lead is faulty :mad: It looks good when i power it up in my house...not much good there though :D Kirbz

Hi James I had 8" wheels on my last zed, which went to CJ who wrote it off!! and now the wheels are on his new car, warrens i think. I had 235's on the front and 265's on the back and they were fine, also with the wider tyres on it gave the impression that the back were begger anyway. Ask CJ how he finds the handling Cheers Kirbz

Hello People, I have noticed that i am having a few crunching moments!! Mainly from 3rd to 4th but it doesnt do it all the time, reverse also can do it sometimes, but also i drove it hard the other day and went from 2nd to 3rd very quick and was straight on the gas full and it was riding the clutch?? Tried it again but a bit more smoother and it was fine. The clutch is a stillen kevlar put in about 20k ago. I spoke to grasshopper and they say it is prob a linkage problem as this is quite common especially from 3rd to 4th. Any ideas?? Cheers Kirbz

the offset is important cos if you get it wron the wheels wont fit :eek: You need to measure between the nuts to get the correct offset, i think!!! please check this before buying as i'm not 100% But I'm sure someone on here will correct me if i'm wrong!!;) Cheers Mike

Hi Stu Have you not tries westgate tyres yet?? Graham is usually pretty good I would have thought either 7.5 inch fronts and 8 or 8.5 inch rears would be fine. The 18" alloys i had on my last zed were all 8" and they had 235's on the front and 265's on the back but when i got it it had 225's all round :rolleyes: Cheers Kirbz

Things just get better and better ;) Just spoke to grasshopper today and they say that with my mods i should have my high boost set to 1.6 bar which is about 22 psi if i'm not mistaken ish. She will be even faster then...by god :eek: I luv it Kirbz
