Hi People I pick my Zed up tomorrow and with the mods its had done she should be pushing some decent BHP but how do i tell?? I spoke to grasshopper and they said its not worth getting it dyno'd as they will do a road tune. So the question is, is getting the car dyno'd worth it and if so where and how much? Hi Glen I havnt picked up my new zed yet!! I was meant to pick it up a couple of weeks ago but i had a death in the family but i should be picking it up tomorrow. I dont know if i am selling them just yet, it all depends on if i can afford the extra to go up to 19's But if i do then i am open to offers. To answer your questions yes they will go straight on, my new zed's bodywork is standard. Hi Rich, Japcity have 2 or 3 Zed's on ebay at the moment including a lovely swb tt and he's been selling them for a while so you might get a good deal off him. In my limited experience if you want a tt and you buy a na you will regret it all the time so if your not happy with the white one then walk away and find another one :) There is plenty of good ones around Cheers Kirbz

I was on my way home today from picking up the cash from the bank for my yellow Zed which i am picking up this weekend when i saw a zed broken down being towed up on a low loader then about a mile down the road was another zed smashed up :( Do you think the powers that be are trying to tell me something or F**k him get it anyway...who wants to go to heaven anyway ;) Kirbz

i Cant answer your question but i would be interested if you could. I posted the question what about 19"s but most people said stick with 18"s but i wont be driving my zed very much maybe 1-2000 miles per year so ride quality is not my main issue its all about the look :) Kirbz

Hi Guys Finally got some prices: mb italia Molini 18"s £1030 with hankooks add £100 for toyos mb rezzo 18"s Same price as above plus the rezzo is black crome as well!!?? mb fiori 18"s £1020 with hankooks add £100 for toyo's plus these come in black crome as well and finally antera 309's 18"s £1400 with hankooks add£100 for toyos All the above alloys are with wider rear wheels apparantly there are not many alloys now which make larger rears. If any ones interested please let me know Also full stainless powerflow exhaust £350-400 depending on what you want at the end! These are not bulk prices so if one of you wants them dont worry about it. Cheers all Kirbz

TT's have about 280 bhp standard, you can easily get that to over 300 for not that much money and as for parts, just ask other happy zed owners, cost a small island but we love em ;) For around £5-7000 you can get a decent one with low mileage Cheers Kirbz

Will if it helps i can get all the paint for flip paint at cost, its about £350 per half ltr :eek: and you will need about 2 ltr for a zed If you know some one to do it it will save you even more money Cheers Kirbz

Hi Stuart I think if youre gonna get her re sprayed youve got to go flip paint. There is a guy who does it near me and he's meant to be one of the best in the country and he charges about £3k for the lot which is cheap for flip paint and you can have a variety of colours. I have a chart with all the colours on and some of them are fantastic. Cheers Kirbz

Hi Guys I'll get some stick for this but... I just drove a friends new scooby wrx type ra sti and several other numbers, letters, roman numerals after that!!! I actually liked it, and the acceleration was unbelievable, the car was running 300+ bhp but i couldnt believe the acceleration, it really shocked me but saying that it didnt tempt me into buying one.

Hi Lee I dont know what makes he can get, the last ones i bought off hime were Dare alloys but i know he gets various others. Also remember if i buy 19's the 18's on my new Zed will be for sale!!! It all depends on how much i can get for the alloys that are on it at the moment, before i buy some others. If only money was no object :) I will ask him about the anteras Cheers Kirbz

Hi Guys I might be able to get us a very good deal on some alloys and tyres etc. If you let me know what kind, a mate of mine has a garage who sell alloys and tyres...funnily enough :) He's pretty cheap, on my last Zed i changed all the tyres 235x18's on the front and 265x18's on the back, decent tyres £420 fitted. He has already quoted me between £1200 and £1400 for 19's with tyres but it depends on what alloys you want. I'm sure if several of us wanted alloys he would do us a great deal.
