  1. As long as its before 1995 then all you need is to mot it but after 1995 then it has to conform to the model report ie standard so thats why not many well tuned, newer cars are not coming through. Mike
  2. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=343197&postcount=11 ;)
  3. I suppose you can class the pentroof zed in the lines of the topsecret supra and the jun lemon skyline, all famous because they are demo cars. Kirbz
  4. I had a 6 puck ACT which i got from getgreddy and was very good, the RPS street clutches get very good reviews and if you wallet can take it a nice carbon clutch :)
  5. Be careful stu cos if its the person i think your on about it is faster than a zed or an R33 think after he had his motec ecu fitted its running well over 400 bhp and in a scooby trust me its f*cking fast and upto 100-120 will give any tuned car a very good run for its money. Back to exhausts i had a powerflow on mine and i think for the price you cant go wrong but if you want quality then spend more money and get a named exhaust!? or get one custom built ;) Mike
  6. Hi Spec make very good brakes, also try the brembo F50 kit which are about 360mm and you can get the kit for about £1200 ish new and AP racing do a 340m kit which will no doubt be also very very good so you have lots to choose from Kirbz
  7. also depends on what type of money you want to spend!?

I would go but i fly out to the carribean that day lol so sorry but will have to miss it :)
  9. The CD i have is a scanned version and put in PDF and i'm sure someone at a nissan garage hasnt been ripping the pages out the manual and scanning them so unless there is an official nissan CD rom then there is no such copyright on the CD and like splatt says most of the extras on the cd's are copied video clips etc. Mike
  10. Will do as soon as its done which will be in about 20 mins or so Mike
  11. Wasnt Clarkson who did it but its uploading as i type this ;) Kirbz
  12. If someone has an FTP site i dont mind uploading it but its about 68mb if i remember rightly Kirbz
  13. Ive been selling these and nowadays i burn copies for free when people want them and mine comes with the topgear 300 review lol
  14. Nice wheels, one of the best wheels on the market, modern but kind of old skool as well. Mike
  15. I presume its the ones off ebay? Be very careful as you could be buying a kit for any car so make sure you get some cast iron proof that there for a 300zx and as JD said if there a few years old they are not the newer GT series so they may be a decent turbo but laggy. IMHO the HKS GT2530 kit is the best turbo kit on the market as its the most proven kit in alot of cars, i havent seen any proof of the PE's or JWT in this country that they are reliable or produce decent power!? nor saying that there a crap turbo but if your shelling out a few thousand £££'s on turbos then you have to be 110% sure that there gonna last. Greddys are another proven turbo, bit laggy due to not being ball bearing but at least you will get a proven turbo. :) Mike
  16. you will be getting your collar felt with that number plate ;)
  17. I saw that one...amazing when it was on the dyno and when he drove it in at the end it sounded amazing
  18. Need some help sourcing a supplier of titanium thin wall pipe?? Any help would be appreciated Mike
  19. If you made some brackets in MDF which held them out a little they would fit no probs, i had some 6" in there and yes they sounded much better than the stock position :)
  20. they do make them for them ;) they also do custom fit stuff and can fit them for you, i was going to have a 3 inch system made from the turbos back at a cost of about £700 fitted so not bad!! there in skelmersdale, lancs Mike
  21. mods alone on my yellow peril i spent about 12k ish but none of that was on labour as i did most of the work myself!! so including the car just under 20k :) we must be mad ;)
  22. i agree its the mapping thats why i say thats the only thing that worries me as it doesnt mater how well built it was if its mapped wrong then it will go bang :( who are you getting to map yours? and whens it being done? Mike
  23. also remember that my old car already has 10000 miles on the engine since i rebuilt her so if anything was going to go wrong it would have by now, the only thing that worries me is who transfered the turbos and manifolds from his other car to my engine, i think he used TDI Performance or somehting like that!?? Yours will be about run in now wont it Iain?? Mike
  24. yes thanks and now running greddy 18g turbos ;) cant wait till he has it dyno'd!! still think he's being greedy woth 2 pearl yellow zeds
