Yes it is true it has an engine :) TBH its not that tuned for a skyline! Running about 450bhp with R34 roller bearing turbos, decat, downpipes, apexi filters and running 1.2 bar boost but with bigger injectors, power fc ecu and nismo AFC then should be pushing 500 ish with little lag so a really streetable car

well exactly and why? because zed engines are very hard to work on but the 2 ltr turbo engine thats in both the pulsar and 200sx is a cracking little engine and easy to work on and you can get bits and there cheaper and lots of tuners work on them so there cheaper? Saying that i bet it sounds shite compaired to a V6 :D

yeh but all of them are pure drag cars and none of them really resemble a zed anymore including the engine. I'm not saying its the way forward but its certainly an interesting idea.

well why did they take a very good engine out of the supra which are well known for being tuneable and put in a mr2 turbo engine in? Dont know because they can?? I think its more down to cooling and airflow rather than the size of engine and lets face it we all know how difficult it is to tune a zed engine!

Hey theres quite a few 200's running well over 5-600 bhp How many zeds are they?? so maybe there onto something with that engine?

yeh weight saving, more releable, easier to tune, cheaper to tune and created more room in the bay.

yep a 2 ltr from a 200sx and stoked to 2.2 and a big turbo fitted and just check out that dash...very swish

Topsecret bought you their famous supra with the 2.2 engine in and now they have done a zed!? Totally stripped out racer with 500 bhp, even has acrylic windows to save weight!! Bet its an interesting track car :D and i just love those defi guages :bow: Mike
