Its all about how far do you want to go?? To get to say 500BHP then its fairly easy in a skylark and not so easy in a zed but when your talking 6-700 bhp then it starts to get expensive on any car. You get the likes of Keith Cowie and he's got near 100k under his bonnet and it has to be rebuild regularly as his is mainly used for drag. I think if you want a car thats not too expensive to tune up to get good results then i would say a supra is your best bet...ugly but very tuneable With regards to the zed, both me a mac were doing similar things but i got burnt with my new turbos which never turned up!? where as mac carried on regardless lol as we both wanted a high power zed over here as theres none around at the moment Mike

I know alot of the liner boys used option and were very happy. I think alot of the reasons why is the big get bigger ie Abbey etc and the smaller people cant keep up. A shame though as there not much choice out there for car tuning anymore Mike

I can imagine mate, please remember i have had 6-700 ponies fighting the rear wheels on my old supra which was mental :) I would word the "skyline basher" as theres lots of larks around which would eat you for breakfast bud ;) On a different note, whens it next in for the remap to run more boost? I would say upto 120ish the bike would leave the car but you would reel him in quickly. If it was say an R1 or similar then the bike would leave the car and i think you would struggle to catch it, but it depends on how long a stretch of road, if its say your own private motorway then i recon you would catch even an R1 or similar after a few miles Mike

I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday and he was telling me that he has an account with a local petrol station and for the last few months there have been 2 new zafira's that filled up every single day and had was sounded like polish people in them. So one day after seeing them fill up he asked the petrol station owner who they were? Turns out that the petrol station owner had called up the social security office to question them about the petrol card these people were using as they were using one petrol card to fill up 2 cars every day!? and this was the response he got. If a non-english speaking immigrant feels threatoned or uneasy on public transport then they can claim for a hire car or in this case 2 brand new zafiras and not just that they can also get a free petrol card to get free petrol which in this case sounds like they are filling up cars and then selling the petrol and going back for more :mad: so when the petrol station owner said there abusing it he got the response "are you getting your money for the petrol? and if so keep you nose out" Now i'm sorry but i dont pay my taxes to let these people in never mind house them cloth them, give them a bloody new car and stick petrol in for them...what the f*ck :mad: Lets everyone bend over and take it up the ass!! they are nice wheels but i think you will have fitment problems, they will go on OK but will stick out a little too far, going for a bigger offset is OK as you can space it out but if its smaller then your knackered. The other solution is sod it and go wide arch then you will be fine :)

standard boost should be at about 9psi so if you want to increase it then a boost controller and a chip to control the fueling etc will be needed then hello 1 bar :)

You would never be able to drive that on the roads as its a pure drag car andyou would never get it on the roads here because there isnt a model report for the R34 and even if there was you would need to put it back to complete standard which would nearly double the price so not sure why its on autotrader as its a useless ad!?!?!?
