not true - the standard 16g housing is now the 8cm housing. Certainly the greddy kit comes with the 8cm housing. Which is unfortunate because the housing is too big - Trust standardised the range and stuffed all the wheels 16g 18g and 20g into the 8cm housing. you can even get the big turbos like the T67-25G in the 8cm housing. Spool up on the 16g is enhanced with the higher back pressures that the 6cm housing gan give with no loss on the top end. The only 6cm housing for the 16g is the pentroof turbo - oh and mine :cool: ok so i'm a nerd :shock: :tongue: Regards, alex

tis quite possible they do run like shite, i put on a 2nd hand set of 18" leagues plus tyres on my current zed and i thought they ran like shite - even took them to get re-balanced 3 times. they settled down though - dont know why - just did - now they run fine my 2p's Regards, alex

if youve broke a piston you're talking about £2k repair bear in mind 5 and 6 tend to go because of the manifold design - if you're going to replace one i would recommend replacing all . Regards, alex

I think that the supra does have sequential turbos, not sure if it would be possible on a v6 though especially not on a zed. I was talking to a guy at the weekend who used to work for garrett. He told me that garrett had put loads of development into electric turbo chargers - therefore no lag, no power loss - sounds toooo good :dance: regards, alex

Hey, i get bored easily!! it's a bit like the time when i was a salesman, i had an early appointment in Dover, so it was early, i was tired and i wasnt concentrating because i was on the mobile phone. I'm cruising at a steady 70 and all of a sudden the traffic stops infront of me, i slam on the anchors and hang up the phone and look about to find out what the hell was going on. In front of me was a big sign counting down 5 minutes to departure, 4 minutes to departure, 3 minutes........... .......... not concentrating i had left the motorway and was queuing for the channel tunnel train to france. now that was embarrassing trying to explain that to the guy at the ticket barrier.... no really i dont want to go to france , i'm just trying to get to dover :eek:

ha - done that loads of times thats nothing - how stupid do you have to be to muck around with the auto box on an astra while you are going along a motorway - and accidently get it into park at 80 mph - the bugger of the thing is it wont come out of park unless you've got your foot on the break :slap: not sure i should have confessed that :rofl: Regards, alex
