Lights light on dash?
For some reason my red "lights" light flashed occasionally when I press the brake, not all the time only occasionally. I did have a rear break light out and it came on all the time, I stuck a new bulb in it and the lights are all working. For some reason though now, the lights light comes on every now and again? I have checked the lights and they all work, even checked it when the light comes on and they are fine? Any thoughts?

Problem with ZX
Hi! I had exactly the same problem! I gave the throttle bodies a good clean with a toothbrugh and carb cleaner and had no problems since! Good luck!

I had this recently and next to the TPS there is a small black electrical block, check the connections, I did mine and it fixed the problem permantently.

Black Electrical Connector Block
Hi! It's an NA mate. So what could it be?

Black Electrical Connector Block
There is a black electrical connector block to the right of the TPS. Does anyone know what this is for and what is operates? I ask, as my idle is a bit dodgy (intermittent) at the mo, but when I push the two plugs together (as there is a bit of play and it doesnt clip properly with age) the revs settle to how they should be?

idle
more developments. There is a black electrical connection clip with wires near the tps sensor with another connector going into it. What is this as when I squeeze the two plugs closer together it goes back to normal idle? It pushes in by about 5mm so it is loose. Is this connected or is it just fluke it idles fine when pushed?

Rear Seat Removal?
One question really, how on earth do I do it? Need to remove the back seat bench and seat back. Also, is there a frame or is it just foam? Asking as I am reupholstering it!

Leather Fitting Advice
Actually got a really good shape and fit on the seat base, the seat back is the main problem. The only thing I am struggling with on the base is how to attach the bottom of the cover to the underside of the seat so it pulls taught.

Leather Fitting Advice
UPDATE:- Fitted one of the seat covers last night (7 hours). It was a hell of a ball-ache job. I couldn’t get the stitching on the side of the bolsters directly in the middle for love nor money and they now site about ¼ inch around the side. Looks pretty good though, just need to finish off the bottom when I get some “wire coat hangers”. Anyone else fitted these and had any problems getting the stitching 100% in the middle of the bolster?
